i was shocked to hear dennis miller making fun of the Holy Eucharist, (Holy Communion), joking about the Catholic Church coming out with sublingual version and pop-rocks version etc.
(Remember when Bill Cosby did similar many years ago --- stating something like Communion needed some peanut butter and jelly to go with it -- this had damaged his comedy career for years back then)

Hmmm I’m going to have to go with Notre Dame inviting a pro-infanticide President to speak w/ honors as slightly more blasphemous than a mediocre comedian cracking jokes.

If true, Catholics need to protest his presence on national cable TV and demand he be booted out.

Get over it. There is nothing shocking any more other than to us people of the old world. (sigh).

Dennis Miller is a liberal at heart and not funny.
Miller thinks Jon Stewart and Bill Maher are funny.

No, Catholics need to not emulate the Muslims.

I knew him —or at least knew of him—before he was somebody, and you are right. He is a liberal at heart, he’s no Catholic — all you have to do is rent one of his old videos from back in the 80s. The Fox News thing is a gig, like any other gig. Why should anyone be shocked? Other than Victoria Jackson, did SNL ever span a true conservative?

HUH? Where is the video of this?
Dennis Miller normally makes pure sense. Where is the proof that he made such comments about the Church?

I have to concur that Touchdown Obama is defining the Catholic Church today. Just a matter of time before Notre Dame gets a new statue.

I don't know what his politics are, but SNL alum David Spade donated $100K to buy AR-15 rifles for his hometown police dept in Phoenix Arizona. Heard Spade also donated $100K to buy 3,000 special designed helmets for U.S. troops.
Btw, who's Victoria Jackson? I stopped watching SNL around 1985.

I stand corrected—Guess I’ve seen her on re-runs not current, however, don’t know how she ever could be on show with her belief—stronger person than I am.
