Spokane parks to detonate squirrels

So the Parks and Recreation department is going to use a special machine to detonate some of the 100 to 150 rodents that are tearing up the grounds.
The machine is called the Rodenator Pro. It pumps propane and oxygen into the tunnels of squirrels, then sends an electric spark that causes an explosion. The shock waves kill the squirrels and collapse their tunnels.

A waste of money, propane and squirrels. Catch and release out in the woods where nature will recycle as needed. No outraged citizenry to deal with.

I have shot them out of trees with my 20 gauge over/under. I would be happy to travel West for a little target practice.
Rats in the alley have been dispatched with a Gamo .17 cal. pellet gun and a hatchet then tossed in the bin.

when I first clicked the title i misread it as 'propane...detonate squirrels...I wuz right...lololol...
anyways, sure theyre cute & all...also tasty with a little bbq sauce...

One problem.
We immigrated to Georgia shortly after the Olympics and now we are supposed to ‘be’ southern and therefore nor more carpeting bagging crimes.
