Daffodils
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host , of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Outdid the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not be but gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed-and gazed-but little though
What wealth the show to me had brought
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills
And dances with the daffodils.
We drove to Norristown, PA to have dinner with my father and step-mother. It was so nice to visit - they were very happy to get company. Doreen is not doing well. It is sad to see. Sometimes she realizes here condition and tears up telling me she is so embarassed about it. Other times, she doesn't realize too much and does things like try to put her bacon in her mouth while still holding her fork. They both do not fit.
Kassie, While I was on the ranch the other day, I found 3 rimless tires. Talked Roomey into throwing them into the truck bed, so now I’ll grow some Yukon potatoes. lol. I’m also looking for a three or four inch diameter pvc pipe, about four feet long. I’m going to turn it into a strawberry farm. I’ll paint it with fusion first, brown. Got my tomatoe pot ready to receive my tomatoes.
