Our local Tea Party is being held at the Post Office....gonna catch all the mad taxpayers at 4:30pm-7:30pm.
Toby, what did you do w/that alligator? Details, please. LOL
GOOD MORNING ALL YOU RIGHT WING EXTREMESTS WHO ARE THE ONLY 100 PERCENT WORKING GROUP IN AMERICA and are a danger to this country.
What an honor to be called a RWE by our non-American born POTUS who doesn’t leave home without his own TOTUS.
We’re leaving about 1600 to attend our TEA PARTY in Waco. In the meantime I’ll be working in the yard and freshening up a couple rooms for weekend guests...fellow DANGER to America Americans
I like your thoughts kassie, he may be using the screaming media to blind side us with a new hand-binding law.
:-)
Well, got out of the car, had some hamburgers, reach down and petted him, fed him, he LOOKED like he smiled, crossed the road and off into the woods.
EAGLES UP!!
Gives me chills.
I'm honored to carry that badge.
Me too.
Just got back from the Tea Party in Huntsville. It was fantastic. The news said that there were over 3,000 there. My guess was 2,000 - but I’ll take their estimate.
The speakers were terrific, really jazzed up and hot on the trail. When we were asked who was a security threat by being a right wing extremist, everyone there raised their hands.
The host of the morning show on WVMM, Dale - I can’t think of his last name right now - was great. Mo Brooks, one of the Council Members at Huntsville, was a speaker. He was on fire!
Fabulous signs and lots of them. People of all sizes, shapes and ages attended. Both of the candidates for the 6th State Rep. District seat were speakers and they have their “shoot out” on the 21st of April, with the final between one of them and the Dum will be on June 2. Anyway they were both good, but one of them has “fire in his belly”.
They had a whole cordon of police directing traffic and making sure we were all right. The MSM got pushed out of the area because of the crowd, so had to climb up onto the roof of a neighboring building to shoot their video! When I turned around and saw them, the first thing I thought was there were snipers on the roof and we had all just declared that we were Right Wing Extremists!!!!
Oh, the Party was held in the gravel parking lot of the VBC, across the street from the Clinton Avenue Post Office.
Oh, wonderful! That sounds fantastic. I just bet I know some of the people in that crowd.
Do you think this mass rally will have some applicable effect?
My 2 cents is that if they are as well attended all around the country - over 500 of them in all 50 states - that they won’t be able to round all of us up and put us in jail - maybe concentration camps, but not jail.
I think that these mass rallies will have more impact on each of the state legislatures than on the feds - at least in the beginning. Once the states “get it”, it will spread to the feds and the individual Senators and Congressmen will get nervous. We need to keep pushing!
Jem, if you want to take a look at the crowd - a short video - you can go to the thread Tea Party Participants and go to post 448.
The First lady and I, along with some FRiends went to Gaslight Park in downtown Tampa today. Not a bad crowd. I estimate (conservatively) about 1500-1700 people. If the news reports say any less, multiply their figure by a factor of 50%. That's how they usually do it, inflate the left's by 50%, decrease the Right's by 50%.
Sang God Bless America, heard from Cigar Dave, Ted Webb and others. Good comradary, conversation, and signs. Some of the signs were great...now I can't remember any of them...I'm having a senior moment. Sheesh.
Take care everyone. Oh, and yes Molly, I've been identified as a right wing terrorist by my government. In the fwiw department, Janet Napalotano sucks swamp water.
Got to go buy some more ammo...

I’m excited to hear your Tea Party report, till. Please ping me if you can.
We were very pleased at the 1,000 turnout for little ol’ McAllen TX. It was very, very successful.
The LE must’ve had complete confidence in the discipline of the crowd as they remained a good block away from the festivities. No doubt they could be summoned quickly but they most certainly were not a presence that was close to or within the crowd.
Thanks for the report jtill, the one closest to ours was also very much a success. And thanks for reminding me about the young people that were present, there was a very good showing of their age group at ours too, many with signs.
and post either your estimate or the announced estimate of your event.
PB, there was one little girl at the Party - about 5 - who sat on her Daddy’s shoulders and held up a sign saying, “You’re stealing my income and I haven’t even earned it yet!”
A little boy had a sign that said, “I’m only 8 years old and I know that you can’t spend your way out of debt.”
Jem, there’s a write up here http://blog.al.com/breaking/2009/04/tax_day_tea_party_draws_2300_i_2.html
about the Huntsville Party - estimated number - 2,300!
