He did not meet with Obama in private. He is doing it hoping that the MSM will pick it up and be forced to out Joe Biden’s lie because of its relation to Rush’s comments.

He didn’t. Its illustrating absurdity by being absurd. Biden implied he met with Bush and said outrageous things, and Bush says nothing of the sort ever happened. So Rush is now claiming he met with Obama and said all sorts of stuff.

This is a classic Rush bit - demonstrating absurdity by being absurd. It was triggered by Joe Biden claiming he was alone in the White House with W. Bush and Bush said he was a leader. And Biden claimed he rebuked him with “ but turn around, Mr. President - no one is following”.
No one in the Bush whitehouse supports this typical joe story - he was never alone with Bush so most likey Joe is making it up as he does so often. But since no one in the MSM challenges Joe, Rush is stepping in to expose the absurdity.

Why does this matter? Are conservatives upset over this? This should not be a blast on Rush’s part. If we are going to bash people for meeting people than we are getting a bit ridiculous.
