Maybe we could start asking what Obama was talking about when he was saying that Islam had so much to do with the founding of America.

Wasn’t taking care of some Muslim Pirates our first international military engagement on foreign soil?

The Marines cut their teeth on Muslims.

Notice the prominent red star in the graphic?

It’s not just for ‘decoration.’

The initial claim is that they are promoting democracy. Among “like minded individuals”.

And if you disagree, they pull the Obama card “I won, my way or the highway...”

Why didn’t Obama take the Saudis and Turks to task for clinging to religion?

“discuss among yourselves”

Yes, that's true...the Barbary pirates. I think that was 1804 or 1805?

There is a very engaging book on that: The Pirate Coast by Richard Zacks.

“I’m not well versed in beers but doesn’t heineken have a red star on the cap?”

Heineken beer is not the only capitalist product to pimp out commie-chic in order to sell product to sheep.

Macy’s is another, for that matter. As well, Fairey developed a recent sales campaign for them.

Adidas actually was hawking a baseball cap w/ the hammer & sickle.

The red star is not a serendipitous design element.

Nice try.

Go if you want, but if they offer you any make-up, don't take it! It's poisoned.

Your tone struck me as dismissive.

I have a fair amount of experience in graphic design and the communist iconography surrounding Glorious Leader’s campaign was nothing short of revolting.

If you have missed the preponderance of red stars being used through the media, your not paying attention.

Growing up in the 80’s I have an automatic revulsion for the use of red stars, so I was pissed when they adorned one of the debate halls during the campaign.

Design of that import always has reasons behind it.

American iconography generally uses white stars on blue or blue stars.

The red star has always been associated with communism.

Remember Ayers T-shirt?

Please don’t be so naive, the media is complicit.
