Welcome to the (I guess) official thread to the 73rd playing of the Masters Golf Tournament from the Augusta National Golf Club. Now the game that we love and it's season is now officially, let's see who will be walking the 18th fairway ready to slip the coveted green jacket on late Sunday afternoon.
We all know who's in the field. While I'm posting this thread early, we can discuss and predict who's going to win.

Seems like it’s gonna be warm for the tournament but cold today and tomorrow for practice.
So players will have to realize the ball flight will be totally different today than it will be 48 hours from now.
#4. Used to be called the Palm hole.
Garcia? Bwahahahaha!
sometime JD is best to whittle a better club from those trees he so loves
Garcia is an interesting pick. IMO, he lacks the poise to take it to the clubhouse.
Biggest immature wuss on tour, that Sergio.
When I found out Harrington couldn't stand the guy, he instantly became one of my favorite golfers.
I also like the fact that the tourney only has two sponsors, and that commericials are both short (two consecutive 30 sec. spots) and few and far between.
The Masters is a class act all the way around.
(lol @ that Rolfing clip).
Yea and if it wasn't for Harrington I'd probaby still be dating Elin Nordegren......I'm not going to hold a gruge tho, he's a decent guy.
(2) Mickelson
His "Tune-up" last week was none too impressive!
This is Gary Player’s last Masters. He’s always been one of my favorites. He’s also a great announcer of golf, and doesn’t do that often enough for me.
Wow. She is hot isn’t she. Having her as a caddie would be a distraction.
“Everyone gets Tiger as an automatic.”
My father, who doesn’t like sports much, is interested in solely because of Tiger Woods.
I think your statement above is so profound. I count myself as fortunate to be old enough to witness and appreciate Tiger Woods and his achievements as those who were alive and old enough to witness or listen to baseball games in which Babe Ruth played.
A pitcher (a good one too) that was that pure a hitter. Amazing really.
He’s so good, that for all practical purposes each person in your pool gets Tiger as a gimme pick. You can debate a lot about great players in other sports (Jordan’s ability to travel and foul at will, for example), but when each member of an office pool gets Tiger as a gimme, it says something pure that can’t be approached by a superlative.
I was just about to post those three guys myself. KJ Choi and Justin Leonard round out my five picks.
Poor Rolf!!!
So clearly obvious he can’t say anything except, I DID IT!!!!
Padraig’s such a solid player and a good guy to boot.
Why is it the Irish(which I am not) seem to get it and appreciate things for what they are and don’t think they’re better than anyone else?
He and Darren Clarke are always at the top of my root for list.
Pairings are out.....
Some good ones....
