New York, NY (AHN) - New York City Police busted a the manager of a Bronx pizza parlor that was delivering a side order of cocaine with their pizzas, calzones and heroes.
They also arrested five other employees of John's Pizza on Westchester Avenue for delivering cocaine to customers, sometimes the drugs were hidden inside pizza boxes.
But not all the drug sales were delivered to customers. Some customers came from as far away as Connecticut for take-out pizza boxes filled with up to $40,000 worth of cocaine to go.
New York's Special Narcotics prosecutor reportedly said investigators conducted surveillance for 10 months.
Federal investigators used a wiretap during that time to help gather evidence.
Do you still have to tip the delivery guy?
