He’s one lucky dog. It is easier to attach a prosthesis to hind quarters. My beloved cairn terrier Millie had a front leg amputated. It was difficult for her to go up and down stairs. The cancer didn’t get her. We lost her to kidney failure in October.

Cairn Terriers are great dogs. As soon as I get my acre fenced, I’m going to get a couple of ‘em. I had one before and he was a fantastic pet.
I’ll also get a large version of German Shepherd to protect them in case a coyote decides to jump the fence for a quick meal!
