WOW, what cute girls! Indeed, I can see why you have a full schedule. But then you have reason to brag, great kids!

Thank you for the sweet opening, Billie!Afternoon, yorkie - glad you liked the sweet little girl. Your tangerine rose and baby shoes are likewise sweet 'n spicy!
To: yorkie
I love that poem and the illustration is perfect!

Miss Michievous is playing hide and seek with me, and I can’t find her. :(
To: jaycee
Now, who could these be? Let me think......? LOL! Actually, the Finest FReepers were pictured further down the thread. :)

Today's Opening is adorable. Thank you!
I viewed part of the Finest Thread.
It is precious. I'm so happy we can find these old threads.
Thank you for keeping the links.
Thank you for your many contributions to Amy's Place.
We all appreciate you.
Hugs.
Thank you, Amy - that was another of the little girl pictures you sent me not long ago and thank you for that! :) Took away the color except for the pink dress and added the rose and a few frame edges and voila! She was such a pretty little girl to begin with though! I love Maurice Chevalier's song. :)
Glad you looked back at the old thread. I enjoy having the archives to them - especially since the FR Archive Search has been broken forever!
Hugs back!

Thank you, Billie! She got a good tan at the beach! I am going to post the other grandddaughter afterwhile. Remember, I told you she favored Melissa on The Bachelor. You can check her out in a little while and see what you think.
To: Sundog
Please take a look at this little ten year old girl who gets up to dance and then sing. She is such a sweet little thing, you can see how proud her parents are. p.s. This all happened 3 days ago. Her name is Holly Steele. She's British.I just finished listening to that, Sundog. I was thinking before she opened her mouth, "I don't know about this - nothing spectacular about her ballet yet!" Then WOW! Amazing! Thank you for the link - Britain's Got Talent has some awesome talent on that show!

Beautiful peacock, Lady! And with a rose in its mouth..ah-ha!
To: WayzataJOHNN
Thank you, Johnn! I have one more and I’ve been looking for her picture. Will post that one soon!
To: Lady Jag
Awwwwww. But how awesome to watch a baby fly from the nest the first time. I’ve watched it. I feel so proud for them!
To: Billie
She looked like she loved getting her picture made and for some reason, she had this little mischievous look about her!
Are you telling me that ‘she hides good’. LOL!
To: yorkie
That picture is the perfect counterpoint to the poem!
A picture with impact, seriously!

Choices Made
The dawn rose, with silent grace
but no light fell on the prisoners face
Locked away there in that dreary hole
awaiting eternitys long running toll
Black stone walls, and iron bars cold
a chill and lonely place to grow old
A single moment rash, and foolish bent
and a future wasted, a chance is spent
One was lost, and now another waits
both to suffer, victims of their fates
The bitter truth, no one won or will
and how steep the cost of the bill
A small room to age, in paying the toll
a shuttered place, for a sad and brutal soul
A wasted life, filled with hard strife and woe
watching time tick away, so very, very slow
