Tater Tots Casserole IV
INGREDIENTS
1 pound lean ground beef
1 pound fresh, ground pork sausage
1 small onion, chopped
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (14.5 ounce) can French-style green beans, drained
1 (32 ounce) package tater tots, thawed
salt to taste
DIRECTIONS
Saute onion in a large skillet until soft; add beef and sausage and cook until browned. Drain set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Spread soup and beans in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Slowly add meat mixture, then top with tater tots and season with salt to taste.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 45 minutes, or until casserole is cooked through.
Yum. I think my husband would like that one. Thanks, yorkie.
That sounds good, Yorkie. I think my family would like that for a change. I will probably smother with grated cheese.
My family eats anything with cheese on it. LOL
The picture came from the recipe page. For some reason, the cheese was left off. (I would add 1 1/2 - 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese and return to oven, ten minutes before serving). I think I would not use ground pork - as it tends to be dry - but that is a matter of opinion.
Here is the link - (And I love the ALL RECIPES site - mainly because I can read the reviews, and add or subtract (using other’s experience.)

LOL, Thanks, Amy
That is the way yorkies are.
Thanks, JC!
JC, that is about the cutest little graphic I have ever seen! Thank you!!
Is it REALLY your birthday?
Oh my, I can just imagine births on April first...doc comes out & tells dad..’”congratulations! you are the father of triplet girls!”
Did you take a lot of teasing for a April 1 birthday?
(character building?)
Well, if it is your birthday - Happy Happy to YOU!
Yes, you got two Birthday Cakes! I hope you had the most wonderful birthdy today, JC! I could just see you trying to decide where to start on your cakes. LOL!
One last time - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Thank you, JC and Amy. I tried to find a graphic of a yorkie in a joker’s hat (my Lindy has one - I should have just put it on her, and taken her picture - for Amy’s.)
I couldn’t resist that picture - she looks just exactally like Lindy’s sister.
That’s OK Amy, as long as I got it in for each day.
As always my pleasure.
A man and his dog walk into a bar. The man proclaims, “I’ll bet you a round of drinks that my dog can talk.”
Bartender: “Yeah! Sure...go ahead.”
Man: “What covers a house?”
Dog: “Roof!”
Man: “How does sandpaper feel?”
Dog: “Rough!”
Man: “Who was the greatest ball player of all time?”
Dog: “Ruth!”
Man: “Pay up. I told you he could talk.”
The bartender, annoyed at this point, throws both of them out the door. Sitting on the sidewalk, the dog looks at the guy and says, “or is the greatest player Mantle?”
Yes, Dolly, yesterday really was my birthday. My Dad’s birthday was March 31st and he wanted me to be born on his birthday so bad. I waited until the next day. Dad always told people that I was stubborn before I was born and continued, even though that is definitely not true!
To make it worse my hubby and I were married on my birthday! Ooops...could be a bad move. I told someone on the thread yesterday that I never had a private birthday because it was always our Anniversary...LOl! He was in the Navy and his ship was getting ready to go to the Mediterranean for 6 months and we didn’t want to wait until October or after! It all turned out good! I have had a few jokes along the way but it mostly turned out well, as no one ever seemed to forget the birthday and anniversary!
Sounded very delicious, yorkie! I like that All Recipes site too! You can find it all there!
Whenever the Lord assigns us a difficult task, He gives us what we need to carry it out. John Wesley wrote, Among the many difficulties of our early ministry, my brother Charles often said, If the Lord would give me wings, Id fly. I used to answer, If God bids me fly, I will trust Him for the wings.
Todays Scripture tells us that Joshua was thrust into a position of great responsibility. No doubt the enormity of the challenge before him made him tremble with fear. How could he ever follow such a great leader as Moses? In his own strength it would be impossible to lead the people into the Promised Land. But along with the marching orders, the Lord gave him an assuring promise: I will not leave you nor forsake you (Josh. 1:5). Then He said, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (v.9). Such reassurances were the backing Joshua needed.
If God has given you some special work to do that frightens you, its your responsibility to jump at it. Its up to the Lord to see you through. As you faithfully do your part, He will do His part.

Thank you, Polly! Goodness, I knew you were very tied up with your sisters. Hope everything is going well with the surgery for your sister. May God be with you and your family.
Darling little birthday greeting!

Absolutely, He will.
