A friend of the daughter of Vice President Joseph Biden is attempting to hawk a videotape that he claims shows Ashley Biden snorting cocaine at a house party this month in Delaware.

An anonymous male "friend" of Biden took the video, said Thomas Dunlap, a lawyer representing the seller. Dunlap and another man claiming to be a lawyer showed The Post about 90 seconds of 43-minute tape, saying it was legally obtained and that Biden was aware she was being filmed. The Post refused to pay for the video.

I understand your position. It's honorable and noble. Unfortunately, honor and nobility don't win too many elections nowadays.

The Dems, along with their co-conspirators in the MSM, have been making Republican kids part of their election strategy for almost three decades. While at the same time, the GOP has unilaterally disarmed because of traditional good taste, character and ethics. Look what that's gotten us.

At every opportunity, the Bush twins were painted as booze-addled, wild-child, trust-fund babies. It took it's toll on Bush. Perhaps not directly, or even consciously, but it took a toll nonetheless. Conservatives should not be too hasty when throwing away a trump card which can be used to beat our opponent into submission. JHMO.

Why is this a nonstory? Just because she’s the VP’s daughter doesn’t mean she gets to break the law, whether you like the law or not.

And to my mind, it's even more of a story after Hillary Clinton's recent blame-the-US-for-Mexico's-woes comments.

Hows about it, Hillie: If Ashley Biden's a cokehead, isn't she a poster child for what you were claiming?

The camera follows the woman from a few feet away, focusing on her as she moves around the room. It appears not to be concealed. At one point she shouts, "Shut the fñ-ñ-ñ- up!"

The woman appears to resemble the 27-year-old Biden, a social worker who was a visible presence during her father's campaign for the White House.

The dialogue is difficult to discern, but the woman makes repeated references to the drugs, said the lawyers, who said they viewed the tape about 15 times.

"At one point she pretty much complains that the line isn't big enough," said the second lawyer, who declined to identify himself. "And she talks about her dad."

Vice President Biden has been an outspoken crusader against drugs, coining the term "Drug Czar" while campaigning for a more forceful "war on drugs" in 1982.

I suppose you have a point. It is a real story, if true.

I guess I’m just so disgusted by the smears against the Palin family, that I don’t want to hear any of this trash about family members.

If she broke tbe law, I’d like to see her treated like any other drug abuser...no special favors, but no media circus. I excpect we will see the opposite, special treatment and a good deal of media coverage, though not even a fraction as intense or negative as it would be if her last name was Palin.

Not me. I’m sure that the Republicans in the Gang of 14 thought that they were being honorable, by protecting the tradition and comity of the Senate.

What did we get back in return? A Democratic Party that is about to steamroll legislation through the Senate that will MASSIVELY increase the size of government, without allowing for a filibuster. Not even Clinton attempted this stunt with healthcare.

We should treat them EXACTLY as they treat us...or maybe worse, for THEY DESERVE IT and their families DESERVE IT for enabling them.
