I understand your position. It's honorable and noble. Unfortunately, honor and nobility don't win too many elections nowadays.
The Dems, along with their co-conspirators in the MSM, have been making Republican kids part of their election strategy for almost three decades. While at the same time, the GOP has unilaterally disarmed because of traditional good taste, character and ethics. Look what that's gotten us.
At every opportunity, the Bush twins were painted as booze-addled, wild-child, trust-fund babies. It took it's toll on Bush. Perhaps not directly, or even consciously, but it took a toll nonetheless. Conservatives should not be too hasty when throwing away a trump card which can be used to beat our opponent into submission. JHMO.
I hear ya, I know if the tables were turned the Dems would be happier then Pigs in....Mudd. However, pointing out the the hypocricy of the Dems is still best done from the moral high ground.
