Police photos of a broken star as art?: E! Online leaked news earlier today that LA based pop artist Sham plans to release a Warhol-like colored print of Rihanna’s bloodied police photos to raise awareness of domestic violence. The print is to be featured in the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery new group show Name That ‘Toon to open tonight in Hollywood.
The 24-inch by 36 inch print was made by transferring digital tracings of the police photo onto canvas, Sham reports.
“It’s not meant to look cool hanging on your wall and that’s it! I’m not into deep meanings,” says Sham to E! Online. “There is no message to my art.”

Those remind me of Warhol's silk screens of Marilyn Monroe. Aren't her 15 minutes of fame up?
I like the gun tattoos...but i’d have to add some type of wording,such as “from my cold dead hands” or my favorite, “Molon Labe”.Plus,i’d make it something like a revolver or rifle-maybe held by a minuteman/patriot.
If he wants to make a statement, just post the damn picture of her face beaten all to hell. The “artwork” doesn’t show the violence.

Sham is a startling appropriate name for the “artist”.
That photo is a few days afterword. Media is not making available the photos taken immediately after the beating!!!!
His message: His support for Biden by replicating, almost identically, the Warhol painting. Somehow using Biden and Sham in the same sentence makes sense.
Ok, she read a text he got, then she attacked him. He fought back. How is she suddebly this celebrated “poor victim”? The guy is no good, that’s beyond debate. But this pistol-tatooed hood rat girl who started physically attacking a guy because she was mad, isnt exactly the poster child for legitimately battered women.
Are you crazy? I mean seriously are you? Did you see the beating riahnna got and the jet ski that Chris the loser Brown got?
Immediately after isn’t always worse. Bruises often look much worse 2 or 4 days later. Cops often go back after a few days to re-photograph a person beaten at home, by bouncers, by a stranger,, etc, because the bruises are far easier to see.
NO, not crazy, seriously. And i havent been rude to you. I just read the story that they were in a dispute over him cheaping or something when she physically attacked him. He fought back way harder. But isnt the normal message of domestic abuse that there is no excuse to express your anger with violence? (like her)
He’s dead wrong, but she isnt some innocent victim, she started beating on him because she was mad. So whats the story on the jet ski?
I don’t consider asking defenders of domestic abuse if they’re crazy or not to be rude. Just practical.
As for the jet ski Chris Brown was photographed riding around on one a few days after giving Riahanna a beat down without a scratch on him. While Riahanna was at home trying to cover up the scars of her beating.
Again, thats obnoxious. I NEVER once defended domestic abuse. I just asked why she is treated as an innocent by the media, and by star struck morons,(you), when she started attacking him. She’s an abuser too.
Please point to what i said that defended Brown. I said its *beyond debate* that he’s no good. I simply stated the obvious that she has about as much good judgement and self control as him, only she’s not as strong.
And yes, the jet ski photos were pretty stupid, i looked em up.

what sort of loser FIGHTS BACK by hitting a woman? you were done a serious disservice if you weren’t taught that MEN don’t hit women. no matter what.
