Yikes!

While house-hunting in NH we were shown a nice home that just reeked of cat pee. It was breathtakingly bad.
Later, in the car, the Realtor mentioned that the owner had recently separated from her husband and was going through some tough times.
My wife opined, "The cats aren't handling it too well either."

I can’t imagine what the smell is like. I know from bitter experience what one cat ‘accident’ with cat urine can do to carpet. Unless you can get to it IMMEDIATELY, it will ruin the carpet and the subfloor. You will never get the smell out....never.

"These people are not horrible people - their lifestyle went out of control," Yocum says. "She's obviously a hoarder."...Nearly 100 cats and one dog were found
...2 feet of feces in one room
...there wasn't one inch of the house that wasn't covered in feces or urine,
...were three foot piles of feces in the hallways.
You might classify that as an understatement, you think ?
BTW, Poor dog. One among 100 cats

If any guy thinks about dating a woman who loves multiple cats, think again. Some years ago I visited the home of woman who had multiple cats, sixteen or around that number. She was a friend of my girl friend. The house looked immaculate, but smelled strongly of cat urine and disinfectant. I can imagine what a house filled with one hundred cats smells like. A lot worse.
