Police were called to an East Side gas station early this morning to investigate the theft of a burrito.
According to an Evansville Police Department incident report, the clerk at Moto Mart, 1900 N. Green River Road, called 911 after a man microwaved a burrito, took it out and ran from the premises. It happened about 4:30 a.m.
The burrito is valued at $2.79.
Police are hoping to review surveillance video from the store.
The burrito thief is described as a black man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-10, clean-shaven and with a thin build. He was wearing a gold hoodie and black jeans.

I located it.
Adam Richman (Man Vs. Food, Travel Channel) tried to eat one and didn’t make it.
It’s a 7-pound Breakfast Burrito served at the Jack and Grill in Denver, CO.

Anyone suppose the clerk will get arrested for calling 911 about something that was not an emergency?
