It’s just a list of screennames separated by semicolons. Some people keep them on their FR profile page, which I’m sure others store them locally.

This posting is like using a ping list of which you and I are members.

In starting one, please do not add people who didn’t ask to be on.

My pings only work well if I have a good breakfast first.
They are completely nonfunctional during the Winter though.

Very simple, keep a list of FR screen names with a common interest, on your FR homepage, or on your computer. Screen names separated by semicolons. Copy and paste in the “To:” field of your reply.
There is etiquette to observe, too. Add people who request to be included, don’t just gather names and add them without permission. Immediately remove those who request it.
That’s all there is to it.

Are you kidding? You have been here since 2006, posted a whole lot and you don’t know?

Didn’t you make your fortune by charging a fee for non ping list authorizations?

What’s your subject, super7man?
A ping list needs a subject.

My cat, Bart, has a "Fluffy Bunny" story for you, but he's trained not to talk with food in his mouth.

A ping list is a list of people that you have who you notify of articles that they’d be interested in. It’s a group ping instead of an individual one.
I hold the Homeschool Ping Lists. When I see a thread that would be of interest to them, I copy and paste the list of names into the *To:* field after hitting the *Post Reply* button. Then I post the reply.
Ping lists can sometimes be used to send out group FReepmails, as well.
