Can somebody explain how Ping Lists work?
Is it just a distribution list that I have resident on my computer or is it on FR?
How do I create one?
I looked for a tutorial on FR but could find anything.

I had someone add me to their ping list simply because I responded on one of his threads. After requesting several times that he remove me, I finally had to threaten to report him to JimRob. Now I mostly avoid his threads. If I do respond, I add a warning that says: "My response on this thread is NOT a request to be added to your ping list. Any attempt to do so will be reported immediately to JimRob."

I enjoy threads that turn into train wrecks. Someone should start a Ping list.
Change the word "him" to "her" and I was in exactly the same situation.
A ping list is a list of people that you have who you notify of articles that they’d be interested in. It’s a group ping instead of an individual one.
I hold the Homeschool Ping Lists. When I see a thread that would be of interest to them, I copy and paste the list of names into the *To:* field after hitting the *Post Reply* button. Then I post the reply.
Ping lists can sometimes be used to send out group FReepmails, as well.
I think that Fluffy Bunny thread is going to go down in FR history.
Find out who holds pings lists for certain types of topics. It's not always the person who posts the thread.
Send the ping list holder a FReepmail and ask them to add your name to their ping list. That way, every time they see a thread of interest to all the people on the list, you'll get notified as well.
“My subject would be Fluffy Bunny posts. Basically good news or heart warming stories.”
I think there’s a category for that kind of story, already.

You've been around too long for your posts to be getting reviewed. That's only happened with noobs as far as I know.
You might want to send a FReepmail to the mods to find out what's up.
I've talked to others who've had that happen to them and it was an error. Check it out.
I see that you take this whole thing very series and are making a hugh effort to improve the quality of the cheese here.
Make sure you wear clean underwear when you leave the house because you never know when you might have to go to the hospital.
