Is anyone having trouble loading the AR15.com website? Whenever I try to load it, I get the standard IE "The page cannot be displayed" page. I've tried this on two different PCs in my house, with the same result.
I checked my Hosts file (for both domain and IP), but that's not the problem. Checked the Security tab of IE options -- *.ar15.com is listed in my Trusted Sites. Checked my firewall, and nothing there to prevent me from accessing the website.
I have accessed ar15.com in the past, so this is something new.
Using Pentium-750, Windows XP, IE 6, ZoneLabs ZoneAlarm firewall
Nope—got right in
No problems here.

Works fine for me.
Its all good for me...
No problem.
Have you tried different browsers?
I accessed the forums on AR15.com last night. My browser is Flock which is a Firefox deriviative.
Obama must be banning “assault rifle” websites too...

I had issues over the weekend with getting pictures to display and also downloading some manuals, but the site was up for the most part...
AR15.com had a tragic boating accident, and is no more.
Just downloaded Firefox to try that. On the first attempt, I got Firefox's "Page not found." I hit Reload a couple of times, and AR15.com loaded (quickly).
However, when I tried Reload again, it went back to "Page not found." Then Reload another couple of times, and it loads again. WTF????

Already tried that, too. Same deal.
With IE, tried hitting Refresh several times, and the page loaded (quickly). However, clicking any link there took me right back to "The page cannot be displayed" with "Cannot find server" in the blue IE title bar.

I was ready to chalk this up to some "domain censorship" from my ISP, except for the fact that the site DOES load occasionally. This is baffling.
If you’re using a router take it out of the equation and plug directly into your modem to see if that changes anything.
Works just fine.
The lakes around the country must be filled with lost firearms.
First off, get rid of IE...junk. No problems getting in with Firefox..
See my post #13.
Sorry...
I guess Assault Rifles are in HUGE demand!
