Overall a decent night. Not great but pretty good. No trainwrecks. I thought Tarentino was actually decent as a mentor, and it seems the kids liked him.
I do think Adam completely distanced himself from the rest of the field tonight.
1. Adam - Born to Be Wild - Honestly, one of my favorite AI performances ever. Rockin, headbangin, and absolutely vocally fantastic. Let’s face it, love him, hate him, Adam is miles ahead of everyone else vocally and performance wise.
2. Danny - Endless Love - This was a very nice emotional and powerful performance. great vocals and beautifully done. Nowhere near Adam but very good.
3. Anoop - Everything I Do - Every few weeks Anoop pulls out a performance that shows just how pure and powerful his voice really is. This was one of those weeks.
4. Allison - Don’t Want To Miss A Thing - Started slowly, but a very good finish. Not one of her best, but still pretty good.
5. Kris - Falling Slowly - I wanted to put Kris 4th because vocally he was very good, but I could not get past the fact that Allison perked me up in her song and this just sort of bored me. It was pretty, and nicely sung, but just kind of there.
6. Matt - To Really Love a Woman - I thought the start and the ending were superb, and I really dug the bluesy feel Matt gave the song, but he totally lost the melody and the song in the middle. That short terrible part was enough to kill the whole performance.
7. Lil - The Rose - Not a trainwreck, and there were a couple of very nice moments. The final note was exquisite, but overall the performance was just OK and really did nothing for me.
Bottom 3 will probably be Allison, Matt and Lil. I think all 3 and maybe even Kris could be in trouble, and Matt and Lil could be in Serious trouble.
Who should go Home - Lil, she has run her course. She is not improving and her little snit with the judges may have sealed her fate.
Who will go home - equal possibility of Allison, Matt or Lil.
I think the judges will use the Save if it is Allison.
They looked awfully awkward in that Pet Stroll they did for the press today.

LOL I thought so too. They just showed that snippet again on my 10pm news and it looked like Bo was pulling Michelle and then BO was running with the dog in his suit across the White House lawn...it was comical!
Lil is now in 2nd place on dialidol.com - Danny first, Adam third.
I think that’s a pretty fair explanation.
