If we had avatars here, I think the ReRun dance gif would be mine :)LOLOLOL I liked that one, too. I have a ton of gifs that are funny, but really fit into no post. Like Hank Scorpio shooting a flame thrower.

Ha, with this 56k dino-dialup it takes at least a year for this page to load for me!Awww... :-(
You all have to get at least cable internet. My cable company is practically giving it away these days. For a while they were slowly moving all the good channels to digital cable and they even stopped that.

Listened to the Kings Of Leon earlier stuff. It's pretty rad! Thanks RK for letting me know about them, I haven't really kept up with the new bands (10 Years) lately.
Do you like Third Eye Blind? Nickleback? You got me on this kick to search out updated new music and to discover what's on different hit list, but I have a hard time listening to it because I'm bound by this deathnail dialup modem. You know of any forums or good sites which discuss all the hit/Good music which are out there? Maybe site's which offer lowband samples?
Ut oh, I just thought of an after IDOL idea for a thread...

Wolfstar would probably be able to help you out on the music forum recommends. I'm fairly clueless about new music, too. My tastes are pretty eclectic (the only genre I really don't like is reggae). The last few things I have down loaded are
60 Classics- Essential Lounge Chillout (chill/trip hop),
Rock and Roll Jesus Kid Rock,
Only By the Night Kings of Leon,
Countrypolitan Favorites Southern Culture on the Skids.
I get a lot of my stuff off of amazon.com downloads. I like that I can listen to a sample before downloading.
The people who review the music all think they are writing for Rolling Stone or something. I want to see reviews like, "If you liked The White Stripes, Elephant, then you'll like this too!" but, unfortunately, there don't seem to be a lot like that.

Oh, I didn’t answer your questions. I don’t care for Nickleback and it’s for dumb reasons. LOL I’ve heard nothing but horror stories about what a complete tool their lead singer is. Third Eye Blind, I only know the one song, Jumper, and it’s OK.

Wolfstar would probably be able to help you out on the music forum recommends. The best all-music forum on the web is Pulse Music Board. It is well organized, and has sections for most music genres (even Christian/Gospel, believe it or not). It has sections for albums, for singles, for general music news, and even an entertainment section where they have an American Idol thread.
The rules at Pulse are fairly simple. (1) Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as long as it's respectful. (2) Pulse is not a fan board, so fan wars are not tolerated. (3) Pulse is not a political forum, so pretty much keep your politics to yourself.
The moderators do a great job keeping all the boards reasonably respectful, and keeping squabbles from getting out of hand. They don't ban offenders immediately, but give them two or three private warnings first. It's by far the best board I've ever found in this regard. Threads with hundreds and even thousands of replies, and with over 10,000 views are common. When threads reach about 98 or 99 pages, a Part 2, Part 3, etc., is started. For example, the latest thread devoted to Kelly Clarkson's huge hit "My Life Would Suck Without You' currently is up to 66 pages, 1,956 replies, and 67,923 views. Despite all that activity, amazingly, you just don't see the kind of blow-up that kills so many forums, probably because they have very good and fair mods.
You'll have to put politics aside there, because people from around the world post on Pulse. There are gays, straights, all ethnicities, kids, middle aged and older folks, and even a few industry insiders. On the rare occasion when someone posts something even a little political, you'll have to let it go even if you don't like it, because of the rule that everyone is entitled to their opinion. Check it out, and if you have questions, FReemail me. I've been a member there for over two years, and I lurked there for at least a year before joining.

Okay, that is so disturbing on so many levels, the least of which is Van Damme's leotard. LOL!!
And the man doing the crab dance looks a lot like Looter Guy :)

Like Hank Scorpio shooting a flame thrower. LMAO!! Albert Brooks is the best guest star the Simpsons have. He must ad-lib most of what he says. "You don't like fun-runs? Neither do I." [Scorpio takes off his running shoes and throws them into the street] "Get the HELL outta here!"

Yous guys is awesome! Thanks WS for the link. It seems to me there is some great music out these days. It's as though genre's are crossing all over the place which is fine with me. I really need to start getting back into discovering music and what's popular in all the categories, so I really appreciate yous guys feedback.
WS I'll let you know what I think of Pulse. Rk I like the idea of Amazon because it does sample, but they increased to a higher bandwidth which only let's me hear the music in small clicks of the whole sample because of my stupid pinhole 56k. 32k sample is what I can take. Thanks again for the suggestions.

And the man doing the crab dance looks a lot like Looter GuyMaybe that's how he became Looter Guy. He could never recover from the burst of fame he received doing the crab while Jean-Claude Van Damme danced on and decided on a life of living on the government dollar and stealing Heineken's.
