And its really unfair...Adam has been on broadway prfesiionally doing this for years. For Danny and especially kris, this is their first time before huge audiences.

Kris Allen
Randy and Kara choose Kris's song. "Apologize" by One Republic.
He plays piano as he sings, but we can barely hear the piano.
I hate this song, but Kris's voice suits it well.
Randy: This is the kind of artist you can be. Nice, baby, very nice!
Kara: I think it was a really competent performance, but at this stage you have to be hitting it out of the park. I wanted you to make it more your own. Take more chances.
Paula: Sits in the right place of your voice. There was a bum note there. But I am so proud of you. All three of you are worthy to be in the top spot.
Simon: Kara, I think you copped out. You can't choose a song for him and then blame him for singing the song. (audience cheers) You can't blame him. [says if Kara didn't want him to play the piano she should have told him so.]
Kara goes a little nuts. How dare anyone criticize me!?
Kara: (to Simon) Have you ever arranged a song? I don't think so!
I've had all I can take of this woman. I think Simon has too.
