Newsom "Twitterfying" SF While Learning to Spell

San Franciscans concerned with a lack of government transperancy rest easy. Twitter is coming to the rescue.

Everybody's favorite mayor running for governor, Gavin Newsom, was at Twitter's headquarters on Tuesday morning to twitterfy San Francisco.

Newsom is no stranger to the Twitter phenomenon as he seeks all the attention he can get ahead of his run for governor. He often tweets what he is up to from his cell phone. In fact he tweeted his meeting with the head of Twitter and his recent apperances on network television and his radio show.

"Heading over to Twitter HQ tomorrow -- talking tech/ government-- any questions I should ask thier team?" He tweeted in one early morning session. Then he followed it up with another tweet where he said, "Heading to Twitter HQ-- thanks for all the questions-- (and how to spell "their")."

Amazing. The mayor also lets stalkers know when he is jogging through the Presidio. So it must be a good thing when Twitter's chief executive, Evan Williams, tweets, "Good meeting with the Mayor this morning. We are twitterfying SF!"

While there is no specific word or tweet, yet, from the mayor or Williams about what actually came out of the meeting we (and other webbies) can assume that Twitter will be used to help improve communication between the city and its residents.
