It didn't take long for T.O. to find a new home.

Terrell Owens has agreed to a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Buffalo Bills.

"I'm leaving America's team [for] North America's team," Owens said at a news conference in Buffalo in Saturday.

According to a source, the entire contract is guaranteed.

Owens visited the Bills on Saturday. He was released by the Dallas Cowboys late Wednesday.

I guess Romo isn’t his quarterback anymore...

Thank goodness Bill Belichek didn’t sign him. Brady throwing to both Randy Moss and T.O. would have been too much to defense.

I’m surprised the Cardinals didn’t make a play at him, with Boldin leaving. Warner could handle him - nothing rattles him.

That sounds like a reasonable analysis to me...not that I want to see any of the Pat's division rivals get better, but...I do have a soft spot for Buffalo. Since 1994, I have gone out every single year but one to watch...we have a great time!

My favorite one was a blizzard game, and we rented a Ryder truck out there to go to the game in...we ended up putting couches and chairs from our sleazy motel rooms in the back and taking them to the game with us...

...then I had to drive the truck back to the motel through the blizzard after the game, and we had fifteen guys and all that furniture sliding around in the back...I could hear them yelling and cursing as the truck slewed from side to side, and so did they and the furniture!

We had seats behind the goalpost...

The other thing about this game that I remember was two young Buffalo fans, probably aged 14 or 15 sitting next to us...in this vicious weather, wind blowing, probably around zero with wind chill, and...they had no shirts on. One of the kids was more muscular, and obviously the leader of the two, but the other kid was skinnier, and he was shivering and his lips were blue, but...he wasn't going to be the first to put his shirt and jacket back on. Just crazy. Finally, a cop came down and said to the kids (not unkindly) "Look guys, you gotta put your clothes on. There's people back here who are worried about you..." It was kind of nice the way the cop handled it. He did it without really making a big deal out of it.

T.O. to “TD” in T.O.

Still shaking my head over it... I don’t think it would’ve happened in the Levy era.

Its only a 1 year deal. Its soo he can spend a year trying to be quiet, productive, and not a lot of media attention. I’m sure thats the plan by his agent and him. Then he can jump to a bigger market team with a longer term deal. The guy has been a cancer for Dallas and nobody is going to take a long term chance on him right now.

I think it is good for TO to be on a lesser profile team.

OTOH, he'll be a very big fish in a very small pond.

I’m in the I didn’t see this coming camp too.....

If Philly lets McNabb go some morning, by lunch time he is in Buffalo having a press conference. Simple as that.....

Cry me a red river. Dallas brings on whatever negative press the media reports about them.
From its attention whore owner/co-gm/co-coach, to signing psychos like TO and twobit thugs like Pacman, to its QB that just has to date celebrities.
Dallas has become the Paris Hilton of NFL teams, and its by their own managements choice that they do so.
You want to stop the negative press? Try to build something that is positive, deserves respect, and can win a superbowl, rather than a scorched earth policy of fielding a team, regardless of their character and chemistry, just to win a superbowl.

“It’s going to be laugh riot when McNabb is shown his papers in Philly and ends up in Buffalo.”

I don’t think it’s going to happen this year. Kolb, his backup wasn’t ready last year and there are no free agents available.

That said, as a Ravens-Eagles fan I’d like to offer the Eagles a boat anchor. Kyle Boller is experienced, has a decent arm, and can lose a playoff game just as well as McNabb.

My mother is elderly, doesn’t really watch football but she “hears” the game from the next room, the kitchen while cooking. She said years ago the Eagles played better when McNabb was on the sidelines.

I couldn’t believe the Ravens-Eagles fiasco last year, I thought both Reid and McNabb were toast after that game.

ESPN is always fawning over the Cowboys.

Actually, ESPN tends to cover teams that have "interesting" stories--if only to drive ratings. We're forgetting that the Cowboys is probably the most recognized team in the NFL outside of the Patriots and Steelers.

As a Cowboy fan living in Dallas I have to say that the team will be much improved having gotten rid of T.O. As for bad press, ANY press is good press when it comes to Jerry Jones. The other half of the cancer for the Cowboys is the constant interference by Jerry Jones. I don't think Wade can withstand his shadow being cast over him and will probably be fired at the end of next season.

In all fairness, I don’t think that Wade is a good head coach.... Coordinator yes, head coach no..

I give it two months into the season before he loses his mind and snaps up there.
