How in god’s name does salty food consumption, BBQ rib eating or driving foreign cars make you a “man”? A man is simply somebody that can take no $%#@ from anybody and have the balls to defend himself and his family.

And as a side note:

18. Minneapolis, Minn.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! They must have surveyed all of Saint Paul and made the common mistake of calling it all “Minneapolis”. I live in Minneapolis. Everybody here rides John Kerry bikes and drinks Appletinis.

I think it has to do with a popular perception in America as to what constitutes a "man's man". I have 4 brothers and most of them are what I consider to be a "man's man". They love hunting, fishing, eating BBQ, pizza, beer, watching sports, playing sports, driving big cars, and voting Republican, lol...I love these things about them, even though I am so different. Spending a lot of time in CA reformed my eating habits and lifestyle...I talk to them about it all the time, like eating less red meat, more whole grains, drinking more water, eating organic food, etc., but they don't listen. I am hoping when we all get older it will change!

Oh, c’mon, give ‘em some credit. It takes real talent to drink an Appletini while having a large stalk of celery shoved up your ass.

Minneapolis should rank just below Chicago. Sad to see Houston down as low as 39th place, used to live there. It was however getting a lot of metrosexual types when I left. But then there is always Pasedena and Deer Park to counterbalance.
