Isn’t coal producing like 50% of our electricity? And these idiots want to eliminate it??? I read somewhere that it would take the whole state of Arizona filled with electric wind generators to power just LA. So what happens when the wind doesn’t blow????

That is his exact intention. He said so during the campaign. He said we would not be allowed to use as much energy or drive SUVs, because the rest of the world doesn’t like our doing that. He told voters before November that he was jealous of our lifestyle and would change it to suit the rest of the jealous world.

One Obama appointee after another hold views that have little relationship to reality despite their academic resumes.

I believe that their views correspond precisely to their academic resumes which come from universities that abandoned reality decades ago ...

It's beginning to look like Obama is being cornered by the truth.

From the article:

On a daily basis, news from the Obama administration all points to a deliberate effort to impoverish Americans in general and harm the economic growth of energy industries on whom we all depend for oil, natural gas and coal. In the process, all other industries will suffer as well.

The formula is simple: no energy means no growth and, worse, threatens the very lives of Americans if we begin to lose a stable flow of electricity to our homes and businesses.

In less than three months, the Obama administration is turning out to be the worst nightmare for Americans who are mired in a financial crisis that, applying its proposed solutions, can only grow worse.

All I can do is repeat as often and as loudly as possible:

Elections have thousands of consequences. Some minor, some major...and some that can kill you. When, oh when, oh when will conservatives figure out that these communist monsters are their real political enemies, not mainstream Republicans.
