Twitter has allowed fake “Rush Limbaugh” accounts to go unchecked. As far as I know they have not removed, or refused to remove the accounts. I will NEVER use Twitter. It is a hotbed for crap.

So from what I have heard you and others say, twitter is like Free Republic... just harder to use. And if your post is longer than the specified # of words, you can't. You can chat with like minded or opposing people, and everyone can read it.

You can let others know that you are posting something, so they can read it too. People post funny, serious, and provocative things.

My question is, uh, how is this more than FR?

I get about 2-3 twitter invites a week. I have not joined and don't know that I will.
I do about 65% of my work on the internet and really don't need the interruption with somebody "twittering" me to tell me they are going to the can or the 7-11 to buy a soda.
Another thing, most of the invites, not all, come from folks I know are stone to the bone libs. I really don't need to talk with them all the time.

It may also be a result of me not giving my cell phone number to very many - read DARN FEW - people.
That may be why..

same name here and there “buschbaby”. I follow several Repubs in DC, they will send some good stuff occasionally. McCain (I’m not a fan of his) is on and his posts are actually very good.
