he unholy alliance between the White House and ABC's George Stephanopoulos goes beyond mere conference calls with President Obama's Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
The executive producer of "This Week" is married to newly-confirmed United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice.
Such was reported by Commentary magazine's Jennifer Rubin Thursday:
You know those fawning little bios which the MSM runs? Well sometimes you learn the strangest things: [UN Ambassador Susan] Rice is married to Canadian journalist Ian Cameron, executive producer of ABCs This Week with George Stephanopoulos. Wait. The EP of a top Sunday show is married to a top Obama official? Shouldnt this be disclosed on air, at least when they are discussing foreign policy?
Just as fascinating, Broadcasting & Cable reported Cameron received this position in October:
It's official. Ian Cameron has been named executive producer of This Week With George Stephanopoulos, based in Washington.
Cameron had been a senior producer at World News for the past seven years.
What kind of objectivity can this program possibly have concerning the White House if its executive producer is married to a high-ranking member of the Administration? [Recommend story on Digg.com] [Recommend story on Fark.com]
Beware the media-government complex.
aka La Cosa Nostra, only far more insidious and dangerous.
Stale ole John McCain will be the guest
This is the outrage Michael Steele and the RNC should be putting out daily, not attacking Rush Limbaugh.
That's not promising. Sen. "Can't We All Just Get Along" won't bring anything up that could be seen as remotely uncomfortable for his media friends.
Yep. I'll admit that I was initially encouraged by Steel's selection as chair. But, he's demonstrated the last two weeks that he's in completely over his head. The GOP should cut their losses quickly and move on to somebody competent.
Denator Rodney King! LOL
Once we succeed in destroying the Democratic Party, can we please make Canada the 51st state?
Well, they had Peter Jennings as their anchor for years who was also Canadian, and did not become an American until shortly before his death, probably because he discovered the tax advantages to his estate and heirs of dying as a US citizen.
Dr. Rice and her "white honky" husband.
You're joking right? You do know that Michelle's brother is married to a white woman - FWIW. They kept them pretty secluded during the campaign, didn't they?
I’m not surprised - but wouldn’t have learned without hearing it from you....
Amazing how the whites in the Obama “family” have been thrown under the black bus of “unity”....
I think I’m gonna be sick.
Here's another little tidbit. I watched almost all the inaugural coverage on ABC (upstairs home-office doesn't get cable - ABC's best picture). Anywho, Gibson or B Walters pointed out Michelle's brother several times during the telecast. But, at NO TIME did he mention that the striking blond-haired, white woman sitting right next to him was his wife. Isn't that strange?
