Or you might become an excess electricity generator and then you could sell the excess. Just think you would be "making money from the comfort of your own home".
It’s the exact same device that was supposed to drive pests from your home. They just put a new label on old inventory when that scam ran it’s course.
Electric companies are in business to sell electricity. Just like when there is a drought, the water company doesn’t make as much money when people conserve.

If it works as a surge protector, it may help protect appliances but otherwise should not increase their service life. It would be a VERY expensive surge protector.
There is no way it would save any meaningful amount of electricity.

But it’s not going to save you the kind of money they say unless you have a house full of lightly loaded induction motors or a lot of rectifier loads that don’t have built in PFC. For example, the computer at which you are reading this post almost certainly has PFC built in.
If your house is greater than 2500 sq. ft. and less than 5000 sq.ft and has one electric panel box, you need two pairs of power savers. Place the first in an outlet closest to the panel box, serviced by the right side. The second is placed midway up the box in an outlet again serviced by the right side. Do the same for the left side service.
Oh brother! What possible difference could it make if you plug two of these devices into circuits on the same phase next to each other or not. We're talking near speed-of-light transmission of electrons. This is as silly as those hi-fi enthusiasts who worry about left and right speaker wires being the same length.

It could be a plastic box with some LEDs which helpfully light up when it’s plugged in, and the only extra power in use is the power of suggestion.
I worked Summers as an electrician's helper (better than being a plumber's helper), and this product is silly. It's shameful that people push this kind of sham on the public.
If someone wants a surge or spike protector, that's great, and they will help reduce damaging spikes to sensitive electrical equipment like computers, but you can buy surge protectors for $20 ~ $30 for a good one.
There are energy saving surge protectors designed to turn off a related electronic components when the main component is turned off; for example, powering off a DVD player, amp, etc, when a TV is turned off in a home theater setup. Of course you can also just buy a simple $10 power strip and flip the power switch manually to achieve the same result.
