Beyond the hundreds of billions in bailout money to financial institutions, President Obama’s stimulus is based on: 1) Millions in tax rebates to people that don’t pay taxes; 2) Taxpayers paying the mortgages of people who should have never bought homes; 3) Earmarks; 4) Universal healthcare; and 5) More government regulations
Be WARNED with a little loosening of the credit crunch and all the bailout money to date there will likely be some positive bump in the economy in the near future. That bump will be used by Obama and the MSM to justify everything and even if the bump is short-lived, the answer will then be more of the same.
The public is not that stupid you say… then ask yourself this… how much blame did the democrats get for the Fannie and Freddie mess that has a lot to do with where we are today? If they can avoid blame that due, they can take credit that isn’t deserved.

Really? Most the voices I hear on the right are claiming the stimulus will fail. It will fail in the long run BUT it may have the appearance of some success in the short run and in that case our predictions of doom, will be used against us and by the time we’re proven right it wil be too late and we’ll be even further down the road to Socialism.
Try not to take advice from anybody that spells 1/3 of the words in the title incorrectly. I’m just sayin’.

It is my idea that the result of this type of rewarding the ones that did not work; and save and stay current on their bills, etc., when viewed by all the ones that have done so ... it will occur to a few ... why bust my chops doing all this work when the poor and the druggies, and the losers, and the misspent of the nation have the same things I do? ... and did not work for it .. SO I might as well join them. In this way that appears so easy ... there will be an acceptance; and joining: which will increase the tendency of others to do so; and so on ...
The result being gradual acceptance of the government providing for all the basics ... food, housing, education, medical care, utilities, etc.,
We will in fact have lost our way of life; and like Europe have millions on the ‘dole’ endlessly. When the power of the government is increased, it is a short distance to the reality that the people will give up their guns willingly ... to keep their benefits, they will accept indoctrination of their children, they will accept required ID implants, and so it goes. SAD TO SAY ...

Really? You should see some of the “loosers” who seemingly beg to differ.
It is worse than that. A growing majority of voters pay little or no taxes and some even get rebates. A smaller and small percentage of the population pays more and more of the taxes. We’re at the point where even much of the working class will see a bigger government as a net plus for them, not just those on the dole. We are creating two-Americas.
The so called stimulus package is one of the biggest scams perpetrated on the American people since the Social Security pozi scheme!
