VANITY: Did Anyone See The FOX Interview w/ Se. Coburn?
FIX News | 3-4-09 | Self

I just watched a fantastic interview of a man who is committed to principle & protecting the life of the innocent unborn. When Megan Kelly (???) asked Sen. Coburn would EVER do an abortion, even if the government said he had to, he flat-out said : "NEVER DO IT. NEVER DO IT".

She then asked him if he would be willing to go to jail & he unapologetically said "YOU BET!".

I wish I knew how to put TV interviews on to the internet via YouTube, but my 10-yr old VCR just won't do the trick.

Is it not rather odd that we get so excited when we see a man of principle take a stand with a sense of fearlessness?

Why is it that we are so shocked by this? Because it is so rare? Why is it so rare?

When do WE stand up and make our stand regardless of the cost?

The pro-abortion people have been allowed to frame the debate. We've had roughly 50 million abortions since Roe. But if anyone talks about limiting the activity, the Left comes up with some outlandish example, of an 11-year-old, raped by her father, whose life is endangered by the pregnancy, and whose baby has got Downs Syndrome, and, hey, are you going to DENY her the right to an abortion????????

I would say yes. Abortion is wrong 100% of the time. We've got 50 million dead doing it their way. Why don't we stop all abortions and see if the carnage is somewhat less.

Perhaps Senator Coburn will motivate our church leaders.

Will Obama sign this as a law? If so then the first Doc that gets charged can “AXE him” or more like demand for O’s BC and the Kenyan-born usurper will have to deliver it.

GOP needs more Tom Coburns.

I saw it and it was heart warming to hear the sincerity in his voice.

I live less than a mile away from OK (Ft. Smith, AR)....you don’t know anyone from ACORN in Sequoya or LeFlore counties that could give me a OK voter’s registration card, do you? LOL

I’d never tell them that I wanted it for the purpose of voting for the Dr.

This is really the point of repealing the conscience rule—to purge an entire profession of political dissent. We’ve seen what happens to climatology when it’s taken over by anti-development environmentalists; imagine what medicine will turn into once pro-life health care professionals have been purged or cowed into silence.

Hi fellow Fort Smithian (is that a word, LOL)!

He needs to knock some sense into the heads of his fellow Senators to the east (i.e. Pryor and Lincoln, hint, hint).
