"I just hate the image that we give to our kids that if you're beautiful, you're beautiful and you don't have to be smart," said Del. Jeff Eldridge, (D) Lincoln County.

Egads,I knew it was her, but, you know, it’s kind of like passing a car wreck. You don’t want to look, but, you just can’t help yourself. Did you have to make it so big and scary? It is past my bedtime already. Now I’ll probably have nightmares. Thanks a lot.
Lol! I didn’t create the image. I found in on a Yahoo search of HT photos. I was shocked myself when I saw how large it was. I didn’t know it was that big until I posted it here around a week ago. It didn’t look the way at all at the source website. It was average sized.
You know, one of the most fun things about being a blond is the shocked looks that you get when people realize that you do actually have a brain. You would not believe all of the lies that I have been told by unscrupulous mechanics that thought that they could pull a fast one on me just because I’m a blond woman. I used to dread getting an oil change because I would always be lied to about my car needing some type of repair or another that I knew that it did not need. It never worked. This went on for years until I finally found a place that did not try to convince me that there was something wrong with my car unless there really was. I’ve been going there ever since.
I have news for you, FRiend. They lie to EVERYONE like that, even other mechanics. They pretty much all do it. No shame or conscience whatsoever. I've caught them countless times myself. Fortunately, I know a little something about cars.
Are we allowed to talk about her now? I thought Hill and Bill said she was off limits? :)
Barbie races for NASCAR, fights crime as a police officer and as Batgirl, serves in the military, figure skates, ran for President in 1992 and 2000, etc....
She is a role model for young girls, and it's disturbing that these d*mn democrats want her removed from the lives of young girls.

Oh, dear... my sister and I played with barbies occasionally as a child, and we never had any problems with unrealistic standards for anything. However, this might be correlated to the fact that we weren’t interested in the barbies unless we could take them outside and pretend they were marine biologists or geologists or something in one of the many mud pits we kept making...
