Hi Lori! I had to go upstairs a while....looking in my closet and trying to throw away...its so hard! I need to do so much!
I have enjoyed everyone’s music today! Its been wonderful!
Trying to find something quick for lunch....chicken noodle soup with crackers is what I am choosing! I am ‘hankering’ for a good steak pretty soon! I love Applebey’s Bourbon St. Steak. Have you had that? Its my fave!
Soups ready...see ya’ll later!

Put Another Log On The Fire - Tompall Glaser
Put another log on the fire.
Cook me up some bacon and some beans.
And go out to the car and change the tyre.
Wash my socks and sew my old blue jeans.
Come on, baby, you can fill my pipe,
And then go fetch my slippers.
And boil me up another pot of tea.
Then put another log on the fire, babe,
And come and tell me why you’re leaving me.
Now don’t I let you wash the car on Sunday?
Don’t I warn you when you’re gettin fat?
Ain’t I a-gonna take you fishin’ with me someday?
Well, a man can’t love a woman more than that.
Ain’t I always nice to your kid sister?
Don’t I take her driving every night?
So, sit here at my feet ‘cos I like you when you’re sweet,
And you know it ain’t feminine to fight.
So, put another log on the fire.
Cook me up some bacon and some beans.
Go out to the car and lift it up and change the tyre.
Wash my socks and sew my old blue jeans.
Come on, baby, you can fill my pipe,
And then go fetch my slippers.
And boil me up another pot of tea.
Then put another log on the fire, babe,
And come and tell me why you’re leaving me.

You sure know how to present this wonderful music, Billie! Thank you! Thanks, yorkie. Amy is a great motivator/coordinator. We've had two weeks to put this music week together. It's been a lot of fun, and I have to tell you that tomorrow's music is the CUTEST music ever! (but, why not! being Warm Fuzzy Wednesday and all!) She kept naming songs to use and finding YouTubes so that I could convert to mp3's and upload for her. I snagged one of them for the opening - it was too good not to!
I've seen Thursday's opening (Lori's doing it) and the music is still in my head - it's wonderful!
Yorkie's a Good-Hearted Woman. :)

Great *sniff* song and your graphics are just beautiful, as usual! Thank you, Luvbo. I'm not overly fond of Kellie's voice - too nasaly or twangy or something, though lots of country singers are like that - but that song gets to me every time I hear it.

I used this song for an opening a few months ago with the cutest "Baby" in blue jeans ever!
Of course the "baby" that Mel McDaniel sings about wasn't this kind of baby. :)

I’ve been up a long time...phone calls!
Help! Billie, I can’t play that last song “If you ever have Forever in Mind”....I have played all of them all day! When that little blue circle pops up, a question mark pops inside of it...never saw that before!
I tried a new tab also...wouldn’t work!

“I have read some of your old stuff...and your muse has a
very good guidance system. :D”
Some days most of my stuff feels like old stuff, and my poetry is sort of ancient too.

Billie ... Thank you for today's wonderful Tuesday Music Thread. I love all the music this week.
I had planned to get to the thread early today but time has flown.
Marissa has a dentist appt and it is time to leave.
I love all of your country/western music. I knew you would present it well.
Thank you again. I hope to see you later.

Hmmm, it's a "wave" file instead of an mp3, but if you got Baby's Got Her Bluejeans On" opened, Vince Gill's should work, too. I have 2 or 3 more that I uploaded as .wav files instead of .mp3, too.
What is your player? Windows Media Player?

Hi, Amy - thanks so much. I knew you had a busy day, but hope you get a chance to get back this evening - after dentist, homework, dinner, etc. :)
