Tea Party Rant: They're Laughing at Us (Vanity)
genetic homophobe

Posted on 02/28/2009 7:31:52 AM PST by genetic homophobe

I heard the local radio guy admonishing us to go to our tea party. He said the time for peaceful demonstration is short, and if not now, when? So I thought, "WTF"?I put down my tools, and grabbed a piece of half inch plywood out of my trailer, found some spray paint. On one side tagged "OBAMA IS A RADICAL COMMUNIST", other side read "STOP THE COMMUNIST COUP", jumped in the truck, fired up the 12 valve Cummins, and went to our little Nashville tea party (600 people). Hopefully they’ll get bigger, but I can tell you that zerO and his cabinet are radical communists, about to manipulate the census, very methodically carrying out their destruction of America, and they are laughing their a$$es off watching our little goofy “tea parties”. We had Republicans speaking such gibberish as “let’s show them at the ballot box in 2010” or “we need to stop these socialists in Washington, put the government back on the side of the people”. What a joke! Wake up people! In 2010 this will be a different place! It will be too Late! George Bush was a socialist! John McCain is a socialist! They gave us TARP , nationalized banks, and wide open borders! Obama’s no socialist, he’s a RADICAL COMMUNIST! Listen to what Alan Keyes is saying, he’s the only one with the balls to call it totally the way it is. We already had a Socialist in the White House, we let the Dems pick our Socialist candidate for '08. This will not be solved by tea parties or ballots. I don't know how we're going to stop it, and I'm not saying don't have Tea Parties, but realistically folks, that'll never do it. There will be no peaceful solution. You've got to quit calling Obama/fishead Rahm socialists. They think that is hillarious, and I don't blame them. Communism is Socialism with a gun to your head (stolen tagline, thanks). Juggling the census like they are, that's a gun to our heads. WAKE UP!

The welfare pimps and race hustlers can get out hundreds of thousands of people to protest conservative things, and the conservatives can't muster up enough of a crowd to make anyone notice???

I agree Zero and his merry band of gay blades are laughing, and making plans to further humiliate us.

Wow, you’re a real firecracker! Stay away from your King james Bible, there are bad words like “ass” in there, may offend you.

I did not mean to offend you, however. I would like to come up with a constructive idea or three, I’m ready to hear yours too. If it’s just tea parties, OK. I was there, I was vocal, and I’ll go again.

I’m not sayin don’t have tea partie, or that they’re bad, I hope they work. Unfortunately, none of us has had much experience at stopping the final radical communist takeover.

I will be reading your posts in an effort to improve my vocabulary and manners. Thanks.

On one side tagged “OBAMA IS A RADICAL COMMUNIST”,

I think you and your sign made the video of the rally shown on The Tennessean website:

Come back when you have a constructive idea or three, and clean it up a bit. It is difficult to take someone seriously when they present with such limited word usage and writing skills.

Who died and made you the literary critic? Why slam this man's passion so? ...I happen to agree with what he is saying.

Oh, and just FYI: Ernest Hemmingway, while he may could write up to your obvious standards, was a useless, overrated, soul-sick drunk (like many liberals).

I think this man has communicated effectively what many of us are feeling. One doesn't have to be John Steinbeck to do that.

These “tea parties” are a start, but basically they are civilized people getting together listening to civilized people give speeches then going back home or to work and carrying out their civilized lives. You're right. In the end it's not going to change much.

The real Boston Tea Party was much different, of course. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.

As a political organizer, Alan Keyes is a great speaker.

As a political strategist, Alan Keyes is a great speaker.

As a political fundraiser, Alan Keyes is a great speaker.

So good, he ALWAYS wins all of his races, doesn’t he?

Look, how do any of you propose that we fight this battle?

Politics is not about saving souls
Politics is about getting souls (who already agree with you)
To the polls!

You do that through:

IFF

Identify Friend or Foe.

You make lists.

You find people willing to work, willing to show up at places on a moment’s notice.

We are now building those lists, we are now putting the “bottow up” activism back to work. Activism suffers within any Party that controls the White House. “Top Down” dictation, from the White House, and the fatigue of troops tired of defending their “leader” always hurts the grass roots, over time.

Obama has energized the grass roots of the right.

Those of you who do not understand how to build political movements should study a bit, and get to work doing what YOU think might work.

Leave the rest of us alone. Many of us HAVE used public disgust, in past election cycles, to get conservatives elected.

...It is very important that the Tea Parties NOT have the appearance of a raucus zoo... We should be well behaved. But we should be clear with restrained, reserved behavior...

Liberals and leftists do not respect anyone who behaves with civility and restraint. That behavior only confirms to them that we're not a threat to them, so has zero effect on changing their minds, or their behavior.

Liberals and leftists ONLY respect demonstrated strength and power in individuals and groups. It's why they roll over for despots, dictators, criminals, and violent groups like Al Qaeda.

Want to stop Obama and the Socialists? Make an historic noise. Show up at the Capitol building in Washington with torches, pitchforks, and rope. Arrive in the tens of thousands, and be armed when you get there.

That will get their attention, and compel them to surrender.

Milquetoast, well-behaved crowds of clean, law-abiding citizens are going to be rightly viewed by the left as no threat.

I saw in many threads the Obat sympathizers working under the table to soft pedal the protest and make it a laughingstock of an event.

People you really need to get hardnosed about this, this has to cross the line, some parts WILL be illegal.

Do the test, if your friends and supporters balk or whimper if asked if they are willing to cross the line then they are not true patriots, they could be political plants with the goal of seeding a neutered weak pacified group.

This is not paranoid thinking, this is an example of what the enemy has been instructed to do.

To lead, you have to show yourself worthy of following. Consevatives will not follow someone who behaves themselves like a skin head militia leader or the lead dog in a gay pride parade.

Leftists fear the truth getting out and a ground swell of public opinion rising up against them. You will not accomplish that with the methods you propose, IMHO. Certainly, there may come a time when ante might have to be raised with forcefulness. The leftist government we have now absolutely is tyrannical. But you need numbers first to instill fear of losing political power. Otherwise, you condemn yourself to being viewed as the the sound of a yapping lap dog: noisy and annoying, but harmless.

Lets recall that the protests of the 60’s were anything but peaceful and civil. They were also ultimately effective. The time for mister nice guy has passed.

Many folks like myself will not join Facebook, but we will attend the meetings. Also, any media coverage is good for the movement. My parents are now willing to join. For whatever reason they need to see other folks taking a stand.

Right on, man! Let's start a group and bomb some government buildings, man! We'll call ourselves the "Atmospheric Condition Underground" or something hip like that! Radical, dude!

No they don't. They dominate the media, and control public opinion with their propaganda. The groundswell of public opinion you speak of has already risen against them, but it's only on our side. They have no fear of that - or us.

The point is, the leftists in power (and their minions) will not take us seriously until we're perceived to be a real threat.

You exaggerate by claiming that I think we ought to have skinheads leading the charge. I never said that. What I said, is that we need to present a show of righteous and very real anger with tens of thousands involved, to stop, or to even slow these Marxists down.

Carrying protest signs in peaceful demonstrations isn't going to sway these animals one bit. These people are on a par with the Bolsheviks, Mao's People's Army, Hitler's Brownshirts, and Pol Pot's followers.

They are making designs on your liberty, your property, and the very foundational structure of this nation. You think they're worried about opinion polls, now that they're in complete command and control of our government?

Wake up, friend. This isn't business as usual anymore.

A proper protest is backed up with a purpose and intent. We can all learn a bit from this and use a mix of the old ways from the 60’s and 70’s with some modern day intent. Myself I think the best message is to demand action now and not to just wait for 2010 to be a magic pill.

If anything protest that there will be NO election come 2010 unless problems are corrected NOW, for those of you with a mind ignore the radical sounding dudes that are wannabes if not Obats playing the game of trashing a concerted organized effort, thats what they are.

Time to clean house, pick your friends and paint your enemies, our worst problem is that our enemies are sitting right amongst us telling us what to do, pretending to be experts, obviously nobody has an idea what leadership is and frankly I am not willing to be a teacher on that subject.

Are we going to sit on our backsides and allow this internet army to give us commands? A battle can be anywhere and it should start here, I say its time to do some good old fashioned internet tar and feathering, lets start booting these Obots out, send a message.

If FR is to be a source of ideas and leadership then we need to get the vichy out first.

You sure are a dumb blonde. If he was stupid enough to have a three step answer to fix our current mess you would be happy to shoot him out of the sky. There is no easy or guaranteed answer.
We all have to react to the wrongs that are being done and proposed by our presumptive president and congress. Tea parties, blogs, petitions, get out the vote, law suits and involving ourselves in the process. We have to play it as it comes and most over all educate the people around us so that we don’t lie down. We need to become more active and see that some of these smucks are voted out, the sooner the better.

I am simply saying that you cannot motivate a large numbers of conservatives to follow a lead that involves hysterical rants and violence. I am not living under a rock. I know the situation is dire and we are in desperate need to reverse course before the damage is irreparable.

Like it or not, to be perceived as a threat you need LARGE NUMBERS of people to line up behind you. You are no angrier than I. They are destroying the country I love. I drove 70 miles one way last night in a driving rain storm to attend a Tea Party planning session. That is nowhere near enough effort and we have just begun. But alienation of large blocks of potential supporters with poor, offensive choice of tactics is NOT the way to win this fight.
