It was a filler..

I have been hearing about how some scifi show is pc (like Stargate SG1 or Battlestar).. I disagree, the most PC SciFi show was Earth 2.

Fringe is not back with a new episode until April 7.

Heroes seems to be more of a fantasy than Sci-fi — even though there is some lab “science” involved. For instance, the “catalyst” is this mysterious plasma carried by a particular human. Then there are the powers — flying, running at supersonic speed, etc. Please! All that said, it's one of my favourite programs.

Similarly, Dollhouse seems to be more fantasy than sci-fi. I'm reserving judgment on the entertainment value.

At the other end of the scale — Terminator is pure sci-fi. You could debate the likelihood of time travel; but the potential for AI robots going rouge is very real. It's too bad the ratings are low — perhaps “T4” (or whatever the final name is) will give it a boost.

ST:TNG was right up there, too.

Did you catch Dollhouse?

I missed the premier (perhaps a good thing given the general reception) but I saw the second episode. I thought it was mediocre.

I liked Whedon's previous efforts (well two of them anyway) but I'm lukewarm on Dollhouse. And the ratings, which were not good for the premiere, dropped for the second episode, so it may not be around long anyway.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles is B O R I N G, especially last weeks episode; what a complete waste of time. John Connor as played in the show couldn't save stamps let alone the world. Two weeks ago Sarah Connor got shot in the leg, right next to the key artery. A week later she is walking around like she just got done running a marathon, no limp, no pain, nothing. Whoever is in charge of the show; wake up your ruining the franchise!

If the writers don't get on the ball, the whole show is heading for the dumpster.
