I have travelled and worked extensively on both coasts. You can keep your civilized urban core, I’ll take Kansas or Nebraska or Oklahoma or Texas or......
Yup, Boston and Cambridge.
The houses were amazing! I had the run of the place of so many sweet no-job trust-fund mansions it was crazy.
some of these people employed 2 nannies for 1 kid, with their own built-in apartments.
The girls for the most part were hard to take seriously.
they all end up with pathetic stories and a bunch of baggage.
The nannies had a funny social structure that was fun to goof with though.
good times
Man ,I knew i worded that wrong.
I hear you.
She was simply helping the lad straighten out his Longfellow.
It’s a club:) Dated a Boston area nanny for a while and got to know 20 or so of her friends.
Newton, and a few in Wellesley is where the bunch i knew mostly called ‘home’. Crazy bunch. As a whole, I don’t think i’ve ever seen a group more in need of psychiatric services. God love ‘em!
Fun times, eh? Strange, but fun, bunch.
She doesnt look very long out of High School herself.
Great times. A few were odd, but generally in a good way.
We might be talking about different crowds or different years though. Most of the ones I knew, including girlfriend, were Mexicana.
I’m on the fence, your honor. Need more photo evidence to render a verdict.
Yep. Never met one I would not trust a child with. Didn't really run into many Mexican or central Americans. Must have been a different bunch/agency.
I did meet a few of the Irish nanny crowd but not many. They were a lot of fun though.
Nothin’ special, but I’m feeling generaous today so I’ll say “not guilty”
We had a famous nanny here in Boston about ten years ago.
Shook a baby to death in Newton.
Can’t remember her name though.
She got off and went back to England and got a Law degree or something like that.
Never knew that one.
Louise Woodward.
Here’s a little update on her.

All the irish girls I met who grew up in Ireland were fun.
Ooh, geez! Definitely guilty!
Despite the lone prosecution exhibit I must vote guilty.
Only a very convincing case on appeal could change my mind.
Who’s the moron who put this on the bang list?
It’s a homonym.
