Praying for your friend Regina, and her family.
kcvl-what a heartlifting story your post of the sailboat reaching toward the horizon is...I plan to remember this story forever.
Prayers are up.
We'll add you to our prayers, as well. If you need anything...we're here.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Our hospice didn’t quite say the same thing, but we knew what was happening as my brother and I watched his wife pass over.
It’s been about 5 years now since then, and the memories are still fresh.
Father, be with this family at this difficult time in their lives. Be their strength. Be their peace. Be their comfort. Help Regina to know that it is ok for her to let go, and that You, Lord, are releasing her from her earthly responsibilities and calling her home, that You will care for her loved ones. Give her a peaceful transition, Lord! Angels rejoice with her entry home. IN Jesus Name, AmEN!
It is important to remember though that all life, even in this state, is a gift from God. Only He should determine the time and place of it's end and we should never give up until He tells us to. I speak from personal experience that once she's gone these children will soon be willing to do almost anything just to have one more minute of being able to hug their mom or just hold her hand. All life is precious.
However the most critical thing to remember at this point is that we are all called to hope in God's divine mercy. Nothing is never too late for God, and for such a young mother the true intension of everyone around her should be for the miracle of Regina's complete recovery. That is what I will be praying for.
I’ll pray for you and your friend and thank God that he allowed Regina to spend those formative young years with her kids.
Get well Regina.
Joining in prayer. May our Lord hold Regina and her loved ones in His arms.
Thankyou I did not mean tonight I just meant in general... sorry my head is so heavy right now.
I did get to see Regina today. She still made a few jokes...and we discussed a few things which was nice.
She is only taking steriods now to help with brain swelling and some medicine to help with her body twitches and shaking. Otherwise she is not in physical pain. Very upset and embarressed to be bed ridden to which I told her this was but temporary. She knows she has made the right choice and while sad to have to leave us she knows it is time. Her husband has a total of 9 weeks off to take care of her. His coworkers donated all their vacation time to him at his company. She made a joke about “ look who is taking care of me..” to which i said..you had doubt that he might not? She smiled.... a very beautiful love between them.
Will go visit again.
Thankyou everyone.
I am so heartbroken for all of you. I offer you my prayers.
Prayers up for Regina, for a peaceful and quiet passing into New Life.
May the Lord watch over her bedside; and may the angels guide her into Paradise.
May all who love her be consoled, and may they know that it is only a little while until they see her again.
My sincerest sympathies are with you.
Sending prayers for Regina, her family and you in this time of need.
Prayers for Regina and her family.
