Our new president will treat us to another exhorting, scolding speech Monday night as the Senate prepares to vote on the Depression and Mind-Boggling Deficit Act of 2009.
Meanwhile Sec Treasury Timothy Geithner, AKA The Treasury's Own Tax Cheat, will unveil yet another bank bailout Tuesday...but that could change...stay tuned.

I don’t know. I have a feeling this surgeon is not on the “approved list.” Hardly anybody is. That is one way they get around paying as they advertise.
They went ahead and did the surgery. There is no way that they can get mad and put the teeth back. So...
I still haven’t figured out a definite solution. I’m still exploring possibilities.

Jtill, CC has been on this thread before and she is all over FR, sowing seeds of discord and picking at details. She is like Satan in the Garden asking Eve, "Are you sure...?" She asks to check on this or that fact, giving the impression that things aren't quite like it was stated.

Ya’ know, it occurs to me that with all the love and respect and care this administration has for the elderly, someone ought to check Grandma Toot, formerly of Hawaii, and see how much pain killer was administered to her on Nov. 3, 2008.
Her death, in my opinion, was very convenient for whatever sympathy it may have endgendered. Kinda odd, while I was hoping for a miracle, he really didn’t need it.
Poor Grandma, she not only got thrown under the bus, she was buried under the bus.
And while I’m talking to myself, I’ll take note of this weird internet. Yesterday, I could not get on FR via the school internet at all. I could get on the slow dial-up, but not through this faster connection.
Today, in my scramble to work through our money challenge, I had the bright idea to try a web proxy. This is where you connect to an intermediate web site first and through it get to where you want to be. Mostly these are used by people who visit porn sites. I think. So, I started doing that today, but I needed to tell the IT guys so they would understand. They all know my affinity for this web site and they did learn of my frustration. So, now I told them of my victory.
About 30 minutes ago, when I started up internet explorer again, it tried to go directly to my home page which is the news forum.
Lo and behold, whatever was blocking it before is now gone.
Curiouser and curiouser.
This is a pretty good article. I agree with one poster, however. It was DOA.
