White Ibis taking a break. Before I left they were down on the ground digging for bugs and crawdads.

Beautiful as always! The middle picture is my favorite. Sharp and colorful.
I spent the afternoon shooting pelicans. They put on quite an aerial show.

I spent the afternoon shooting pelicans. Do they have a season for that where you live? There isn't a season for them here in Minnesota, so we gotta shoot 'em on the sly, but they taste pretty good.

Wonderful pictures!
I’d love to be on your ping list.
Thanks.

I love your bird pics, swamp, but seeing as how this is mid-February in NE Ohio, that blue sky steals the show for me.

We went down to our ranch south of Houston and there were huge flocks of Sandhill Cranes in the pasture. I tried to get some pictures but with my tiny digital and the fact that they lifted off the ground before we got close, left me with pretty much nothing. I could have used you there to get some good shots.
