Bet it doesn’t sound like a Harley.
Hank
That style was in vogue about 5 years ago. Everything now is retros, bobbers.
Get a real bike like a Ducati 1198 S.
Looking at this Honda Fury all I can say is sweet bike !!!!! I like the lines.....
And it doesn't SOUND and FEEL like a Harley.
My hubby (the great GOP_Harley_Guy) LOVES his ROAD KING (we call it KING).
We also have Liberty Edition Electra Glide (we call her LADY, as in Lady Liberty).
I told hubby (the great GOP_Harley_Guy) to keep them separated so we wouldn't have little Sportsters popping up. LOL.
It’s nice but I think the Star Raider is a better bike. It’s got a bigger engine - the Honda is based on the VTX 1300 - and has the same custom look so Honda is definitely not the first manufacturer to make a “chopper”. Even the twin cam 88’s were bigger engines and the new HDs have the 96ci engines and six speed transmissions. So I can’t see it as being some kind of big breakthrough except that it’s a stylish Honda.
LOL.
I’ve helped so many Harley riders with broken machines that I’ve thought about putting “Harley Recovery Squad” on my helmet....
They didn’t get to patent the sound, though they tried.
I just like to ride.
My caveat is that I DO ride a Harley, but that's because I got a good deal on a used one.
I understand. Those people you helped must do a heck of a lot more riding that hubby and I do and possibly not check over things before they head out.
The angularity of the frame mixed with the smooth curves of the tank and fenders don’t get it. The tank sits awkwardly on the top frame rail and the space between the front cylinder and frame makes it look like a parts bin creation. 13000 is about right for a bike without many features but wait three or four years and you’ll be able to pick one up for about $5000. bucks.
Also great to see that some people on this board continue to bash American industry, staying true to the eventual demise of our American owned industrial base.
‘I just like to ride.’
Same here, bikes a bike, bikers are bikers, and we are outnumbered by a wide margin.
It's still a Honda, though
Kinda neat. Kinda Jap looking. Diecast niceness.
Thank you for the correction....I really thought it was patent...
Heh.
I would say that is closer to the Wide Glide than the Fury.
Nice paint job (if you like red like I do) and a nice front wheel.
