Very cool if real. Cool video if not.

I am guessing those water jets would rip your feet right off if contact was made.

Now if we can just figure out how to tow a lake behind us, what a cool green way to commute to work this could be.

I would think that the eventual price would settle in near that of a jet ski (that is if sales take off and production ramps up).

What's the practical use for this thing? I'm at a loss.

You'd have to watch your foot placement carefully. Water jets powerful enough to lift a man 10+ feet out of the water would probably strip skin from heels quite easily.
Other than that, the sort of "Ritchie Rich" toy every kid would love. :)

Practical use? Sorry... I don’t understand the question...

Isn’t that a bit like calling a 747 “air-powered”?

Yeah...should be water-propelled...but I used the title that was most well-known.

Seems like a great idea for vacationers at water resorts; however, at $200K, para sailing is a lot cheaper.

Jet packs are cool, but they give you very little time in the air, hence why there aren’t more of them...very very rare.

price tag of over $200,000 (at present).
That's $20K plus the supply hose.
