MozartLover, enjoy your new piano! I bought a Yamaha Vertical Grand almost 20 years ago, and I love it...so do the people who hear it, my piano tuner, etc. He rarely has to do anything to it...only last time he had to replace one little item which had worn out...Now your's will get more wear, I know. And the sound! My friends love to practice here, because of it, and the "brightness" of the sound in my uncarpeted l.r.
Mine also has that glossy finish in a dark brown. Now you will read the directions for care, but let me tell you my experience: I always wipe it with a slightly damp soft cloth, so the surface still looks excellent.
A few years after I got mine, the church bought a similar one for the choir room. The surface quickly became dull, scratched slightly all over. I suspect a dry cloth was used to dust it.
Bit, I've been reading the Scruton. It's very rich with thought, references, and so forth...I've been listening to Dennis Prager's CDs on the Torah, and in certain ways, this essay complements Prager's comments on the Torah and its contributions to our great W. culture.
Here’s what I don’t get.
All these dems getting away (pentaly free??) with not paying their taxes....................
I had a situation where I didn’t pay taxes; not because I didn’t WANT to, simply i didn’t have the money to.
I got penalized, etc.....do you think I can file an appeal now???
