My cat Lucky is still alive, thank God. But I know the feeling of losing a pet.
I lost my dog Gizmo before I had Charlie and Beanz. He succumbed from diabetes which took his life almost right after the Vet found out. It was a very sad moment and I have never forgotten my beloved dog.
I just finished watching the CSPAN replay of Rush and Newt at CPAC from earlier today. Man, Rush is a phenomenon with a truly great intellect. He has so much passion and a deep understanding of conservatism and what it means. He is so clear and he is just a treat to listen to.
I heard Newt's speech, too. He is also a very intelligent man with a great capacity to express conservative ideas in a compelling, coherent fashion.
Sorry to hear about Fang-Face. Pets are treasure to have, and I believe sometimes they seem to understand what we tell them. They are part of our lives and when they depart we miss them dearly.
Thanks much for the lovely graphic, Kitty!
And, thank you Mr. Harvey
For all you gave us for so many years.
May your soul rest in Peace
As you celebrate "Now....
The Rest of the Story"...
....In Heaven
Oh, Victoria, what a moving poem about our little furry kids. Thank you so much for posting that! ((((hugs))))
Hugs to you also, and I hope you are having a nice evening, Yorkie.
Great Tribute, NnB.
Seems I have heard his ‘rest of the story’ all my life.
I watched Rush earlier. I missed Newt.
Rush can put into words what the rest of us feel.
I think I remember when you got Charlie and Beanz. Are they about 4 years old now?
Wow, you have a great memory, Amy. Indeed, Charlie and Beanz are 4 years old.
My evening is about to close, Victoria.
“Now the day is over
Night is drawing nigh,
Shadows of the evening
Steal accross the sky.”
An old song, I remember from my youth. (Wherever did it go so quickly?)
Sweet dreams.
That was real, the year was 1987, and the guy needed a place to put him until the weekend.
WONDERFUL!!!
Will be sharing this here & there & everywhere..
Thanks BoI might transfer this to new thread for more exposure..

Even the dogs are tired of peeing in the snow and have spring fever. And snow plow guys were on the noon news saying the extra money with all these storms was great but enough already; they want to quit.
So I'm going to sit here today with a blanket over my head and think of the beach.
{{{HUGS!!!}}}
I just measured it and I’d say a bit over a foot. The drifts are much higher. It just stopped snowing. I hope you enjoyed your snow day. I shoveled, took a nap and listened to Rush. A nice R&R day!
Many birds at the feeder today. It amazes me how a little bird is built to tolerate this kind of weather. :)

How has your Snow Day been? I had a heck of a time shoveling paths for the dog and an area for the birds because it’s so deep. It stopped snowing around 4. It was a good day. Hoping it will be melted by Sat. :)
“Amy’s amis!”
Cute!:)
