When the time gets closer (usually in August), I will let you know our schedule.
We liked Prescott when we were there 6 or 7 years ago.

I am definitely computer challenged!
I frame pictures because I enjoy doing it...unless I cannot find the right background..Simple framing like I did tonight is a snap once you get over trying to figure out why.Once you get a few basic frames to copy and paste..you can insert a new picture, change a background, graphic sizes and make it fit the new picture..I copy and paste my old frames and change them as needed.
I have discovered I am not really a good teacher..Billie is.
I do have background sources and her teaching threads to send whenever.

Quiet Times
Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
My friend Mary told me that she had always valued the time she spent fishing with her dad. Not being a fishing aficionado myself, I was curious about what she found so enjoyable. I just like being with my dad, she said. So you just fish and talk? I asked her. Oh, no, we dont really talk, she said. We just fish.
It wasnt the conversationit was the company.
Did you ever think about how much time we spend talking? In what we like to call our quiet time with God, we usually fill in any silence with our prayers. But do we ever practice just being still?
God said, Be still, and know that I am God (Ps. 46:10). When Jesus noticed that the disciples were so busy that they didnt even have time to eat, He told them, Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while (Mark 6:31). When we leave the distractions of life behind, we can more easily rest and refocus on God.
Are you allowing quiet moments alone with God to be a part of your life? Do you desire for Him to restore your soul? (Ps. 23:1-3). Let Him teach you how to be still. And listen when Jesus invites you: Come aside with Me and rest a while.
The quiet times we spend with God
In solitude and prayer
Will strengthen and restore our souls
And help us sense His care. Sper

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I was over at the sink doing a few dishes and thought about this post today! Didn’t she do a beautiful job on Addyson?
That was what she wore on Halloween and my granddaughter even did her hair in an old-fashioned style. She loves the camera too!
Her upper front teeth are out now and you can barely tell. Her birthday party was this past Sunday and they had a karioke party. Don’t know what they’ll do at age 16~! LOL!
Thanks to Billie for framing it so lovely and Amy for posting this and you, Meg, for your compliments.
I hope to get back here after while.

LOL
I fell in love with today’s Opening Graphic as soon as I opened it.
I moved the graphic that was next in the FRiday hopper and inserted this one.
They grow up so fast. When she is 16, you’ll wonder where these fun years went.
Have a beautiful day, Jaycee.

I am a bit partial but she is a sweet child, even though she is pretty too. When she opened each gift on Sunday, she read the card (with help from my granddaughter) and she went to that person with a hug. We are a hugging family and I love it!
My granddaughter told me she loves to play ‘dress-up’ and at Walmart they have an aisle in the toy department just for play dress up ‘stuff’. I gave her a flapper dress sequined all over with fringe on bottom. Got those little high heel shoes for kids and a long double strand of beads with bracelets and it matched the dress. They only had one size and I haven’t found out if it fit her or not. I want a picture of that for sure! Her birthday party was at their church and was real nice. (finger foods.....and chocolate cake and ice cream). I forced myself to have some. LOL!
