Gee Bee, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't even be posting pictures. When I joined FR (almost two years ago), I didn't have a clue how to post a picture! But, you took a 'newbie' under your wing, and were kind enough to send me 'instructions'. I never told you this, but, I printed them up, and had to refer to that print-out for every single picture for months! The paper got so worn, I was afraid it would fall apart.

Today, I thank you! Happy Valentine's Day, Gee Bee!

Luv, when I first saw that eagle, it was posted against a black background (or dark). It was beautiful, displayed, that way. (Oh - and thank you!)

JC, that sheltie is just beggin' to come live with Lindy and me! What a beauty she is!

A little story here - I used to go to the Humane Society to bring food and toys for the animals. Well, it was hard - because I always wanted to bring them all home.

One day, I took some towels and blankets that I wasn't going to use anymore, and, as usual, I walked down the aisle, petting each dog. Everyone of them was barking, "TAKE ME!! TAKE ME!!" I could hardly stand it. But one didn't bark. It was a Sheltie. She just sat there - her tail wagging, making serious eye contact, and I could 'hear' her thinking, "You want me - you KNOW you do".

I ran out of there, tears welling up, and never walked down that aisle again.

I still, to this day, wonder who she found to give her the home that I couldn't, at that time.

It's not snowing today where I live but it still is Winter;this does mention Valentine's Day and lots of folks on this Thread dig falling snow pics!:)Myself included:)

Lady Jag does make us laugh and smile! :) I open my pings and someone has cotton rolls in their nose ;) ROTFLOL It's great to be able to smile. It helps a lot with the news lately too. You are right, laughs do have curative powers. :)
