We seldom get tornado watches. This one is to expire at 7:00. We also have severe thunderstorm warnings. It is lightly raining now and the wind has slowed some. A tornado can be upon you before you know it. I’ve never been afraid but just a bit apprehensive.

Heard about the terrible one in Oklahoma. The report said they found an elderly lady underneath her overturned mobile home and she was alive. That was a miracle.

Keeping my eyes open.

“They are really having a tough time, Johnn. I think I heard 5,000 homeless. We have bad fires in SoCal but not so many die in ours. This has been devastating to Australia and her lovely people.”

What is really sad was that liberal green laws made it illegal to cut a tree, clear brush. Just read an article that said a major in the area said well, now there will be some changed to the regulations. As one of the irate protesters said, “Too late, its cost us people, member’s of my family!”
The greenies in Australia are as guilty as the firebugs! They WOULDN’T ALLOW A HOMEOWNER TO CLEAR BRUSH FROM AROUND THEIR HOMES AND SO THEY BURNED, RIGHT ALONG WITH THE HOUSES!

LIBERALS, KILL MORE PEOPLE WITH GOOD INTENTIONS AND GREEN CONCEPTS THEN STREET CRIME!

“Hope you are enjoying Love Week at Amy’s.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday. “

Feeling fine, sipping coffee and writing a new book, and having a lovely Wednesday, thank you!

Glad y’all liked the story. :)

I’m enjoying what I can of the thread. How come there aren’t more hours in a day? Why do we have to spend half of them sleeping? LOL

Speaking of koala bears, here's a link to an AP story about a koala rescued from the fires in Australia...

In the top row of the bleachers at a basketball game, IIRC. LOL Made that poor teacher climb all the way to the top, too!

...goodness, its hard to remember.

At my age, I find it easier to forget things than trying to remember. :)

Thanks for the Valentine - cute pup.

Wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day

Yes, Dave, its easier, but they tell me if I 'strain my brain' it may stay with me longer. Some days I have a hard time believing that....

"If I were a rich man I’d be a Dem in DC."

The point of that is I am not rich.

Because I am not a crook

I am host to a parasite.

I do, Jaycee.
Surprising how difficult it is to put love into words that live down through the years, but she did it.
And we, having loved, KNOW what she means.
:-)

Gather 'round, ye lovers of Irish music and ye lovers of Love:)

Down by the Salley Gardens~~Lark and Spur

Down By The Salley Gardens
William Butler Yeats

Down by the salley gardens my love and I did meet;
She passed the salley gardens with little snow-white feet.
She bid me take love easy, as the leaves grow on the tree;
But I, being young and foolish, with her would not agree.

In a field by the river my love and I did stand,
And on my leaning shoulder she laid her snow-white hand.
She bid me take life easy, as the grass grows on the weirs;
But I was young and foolish, and now am full of tears.

Lovely vintage card, Amy, thanks!
It is a gorgeous day here, still a tang in the air after the rain.
Love Week is just what we need, I tell you.
