My FR keeps going into a "saftey mode". After a few clicks, it goes back to normal. Is it me?

Yes, it’s as if the template for the page is gone. All the text is there and if I refresh the page a time or two it reverts back to normal.

The look-and-feel of the ABOUT pages are different on my machine, as of about an hour ago.

Yeah, it started yesterday and continues periodically today.
I’ll click to reload the page, and end up with no banner at the top. Everything: Free Republic-Forum-Account-Mail-Pings-Post-Sign Out, etc. is all to the left under each other. When I’ve clicked on the top Free Republic link, I get a page that says Error 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable. Reloading sometimes brings the regular page back, but I’ve also had to close the window, and open it again using my bookmarks just to get the normal page back.

An anti-virus called “election” is the only way to get it removed.
