They - including mcidiot - could never blame it on the fact that the republicans put forth as a candidate the weakest possible person....almost a sacraficial lamb when what was needed was a strong willed, vibrant, smart, conservative that could do two things:
1. Beat obammer at his own game, and
2. Overcome the dismal, disastrous effects of the then current president.
Come to think of it...that was a really tall order...and typical of the republicans, they fielded the worst possible candidate at the worst possible time.
I held my nose and voted for McCain, and now with each passing day as this man or one of his designee's opens their mouths to blame someone else, I become more and more embarassed that I voted for him.
Last week Rush Limbaugh said he felt like he was the only Conservative left in the Republican party.
I think that's likely true. I left the Republican party in 1990 after "read my lips, no new taxes!" became yet another RINO broken promise.
I think most Conservatives left the Republican party long ago. So my question to Rush (and others who remain) is "what's taking you so long?"
Any Conservative who remains in the Republican Party after this election surely suffers from either Stockholm Syndrome or Battered Child Syndrome.
What do they care if McCain lost? McCain has always said Hussein would be a better president them him. When you hear this junk you get the sense they think we’d be better off with McLame as president but McCain and the Republicans don’t think so.

McCain sucks. Not a hair’s difference in him and Bambi. He can blame anyone he wants. Betcha he loses his senate seat next.
If I am reading the trends and the party leadership correctly, the Republican Party will not be supporting any conservatives for President, and perhaps not even for national office anymore.
Conservatives are being shut out.
The only difference we can make is to guarantee that no RINO can be elected. Just vote 3rd party whenever and whereever the Republicans nominate a RINO for any office.
This guarantees that a DemoncRAT Donkey will be elected, but it won’t always be by a majority. They won’t be able to claim a “mandate”.

Here’s the deal, Obama is already in office and will do all the damage the socialists want. Therefore, there is NO REASON to run anything but a true conservative at the next opportunity. No more decrying that we can’t have ideological purity, or that conservative just need to shut up and play the good soldier.
I got news for you, the RINOs have destroyed the Republicans. I will NEVER, EVER vote for another RINO - EVER! If they want to regain political power, this they will have to ride along at the back of the bus, or else they can henceforth go it alone.
