Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden are getting trigger happy for the spot light. They are seen this morning in a surprise ceremony at Arlington National Cemetary, laying a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier. Not only is that the duty of the President on Memorial Day, it is an encroachment of the solemn respect earned by what the tomb represents. I resent it being used for a photo-op by two Senators who have voted against funding military.
Go figure.
Absolutely disgusting and this is just the beginning of the dog and pony show. Wait until Tuesday...
It’s true - no link. I saw Mr. O and Mr. B
with complete audience in phoney silence.
No speech, as what could Mr. O say; “Gee
it’s cold out here, take the pictures
quickly please.”?
I think it was on CNN - the whores.
It was a photo op.
Biden’s son is serving in Iraq, if it helps to remember that
Yep...he’s just acting out Kerry’s ‘After I Win’ to-do list. Plugs probably gave it to him!...Anyway, he’ll be too busy for such pedestrian American traditions after the Innauguration. He’s travelling to Kenya ....for the real Coronation Ceremony, Blessing the Shrine his Birthplace has become, recruiting his Military Order of Brown Shirts (MOBS), negotiations with terrorists, etc. Only reason VP Plugs took the job was that he sees himself as President when Obama is busy making preparations for the Caliphate overseas!
Oh, it was CBS that showed this, the other
Obama choir.
It was on Fox also.
I sincerely doubt those Marine's would allow any dishonor to that tomb. As a matter of fact, I know they wouldn't.
Highly irregular! Diapointing.
You have to hand it to them. Liberals know how to use the limelight to generate positive public opinion. Instead of whining, Conservatives should start paying attention and start stealing a few plays from the Liberal playbook. It does not good to sit on the sidelines carping about things we cannot control.
Obama has shown disdain from our military from the beginning. We’ll soon see how much he respects and appreciates our military in the very near future.
One has to simply ask this question. What would this country be like today, if the Bush administration had been given this kind of positive support in the past eight years? We are experiencing the negative outcome of negative and fabricated information. There was one goal starting in 2001, the republican president must appear as corrupt and unethical as Bill Clinton did when he left office. Nothing would stand in their way.
The tomb of the Unknown is guarded by the US Army,The “Old Guard” not the Marines.
They are called Sentinels and they are sworn to guard the tomb.
They could not be expected to halt the illegitimate President elect and his senile Vice-President,from placing a wreath even if it is not protocol
No link for this event. Did you witness this SEEENUF?

But predictable. These people have no discernable conscience.
See link in Post #18.
Beautiful wreath in the hands of
ugly, unthoughtful minds.
Obama, holding his hand over his heart, was joined at the tomb by Vice President-elect Joe Biden and Gen. Richard Rowe, commander of the U.S. Army Military District of Washington.
Biden’s son is serving as a lawyer. There is no way that equates to serving in a combat capacity. It is the coward’s way out of putting him or her self in harms way, but still being able to make the “I served in Iraq” claim. Biden and his lawyer son are simply opportunists. They are using his military service as cover for their real agenda—the emasculation of America.
Frankly, to me, it is an affront to those soldiers who’ve given their lives and bodies to defend what was once the greatest nation in the world. Their actions are the very definition of cynacism.

I think your comments about Biden’s son is really out of line. Not every soldier in Iraq is on the front lines.
Here's the protocol for wreath layings at The Tomb Of The Unknowns.
