Okay seriously, how many of you are pumped up about this. A remake of the classic cult film, "Foot Loose"! A movie about a town that doesn't allow dancing, and a kid (that should never dance in public) changes their minds. Not only that, but ZACK EFRON is staring in it! YES! If Zacky wanted to move on to serious acting and be taken seriously, this was not the smartest move to make.

Dumb stereotypical movie ‘back then’ and it will be even worse ‘now’.
No thanks.

And we all had a crush on Kevin Bacon.
more evidence of the gayification of FOX and wanting to emulate ABC-TV...

What’s wrong Hollywood, can’t write anything new for a movie?
To: Mind Freed
so the new movie will be about a homosexual prom date couple and their triumph against foot fungus. (or some other nonsense)

I can honestly say that I never, ever had a crush on Kevin Bacon.

hollywood’s biggest shot at making a quick buck is to redo old movies. Zac Efron is a good choice since he’s light in his loafers.

Lori Singer starred [along with Julian Sands and Richard Grant] in a gem of a horror/suspense film called “Warlock”.

If they REALLY want to remake this movie, they shouldn’t set it in some bible-thumping small town.
They should set it in NYC where “caberet” laws that date back to the Jazz Age are still enforced to keep the public from dancing in some bars.

Didn’t see it back then, even less enthused about it now. With today’s “dance moves” resembling monkeys copulating, expect the new movie to do the same.

Just admit it. We all did the dance. We all knew every move.
I've never even seen it.

The smartest move right now if for Zac to keep the magic going from H.S. Musical. He’ll take his audience with him and, hey, how old is he? He has plenty of time to hone his acting chops.

Bacon was ok in Tremors, I would prefer another sequel of that than Footloose.

If they want to remake it to be contemporary, how about an archaic, stuffy patriarchal town that refuses to allow its kids to have sex with their teachers?
